Charles Sackett, the son of Ezekiel and Elizabeth (Woodward) Sackett was born September 10, 1809 in New York State. He married about 1828 to Eliza Ann DeGraw, who was born December 28, 1808. They came to Michigan about 1831 and settled in Redford Township, Wayne County. Charles died on March 14, 1860, and his wife, Eliza died on October 1, 1895. They are both buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. Their children are as follows (total 11):

1. Emily Jane Sackett born November 7, 1829 in New York State. She died January 15, 1881. Her husband was Thomas Paulger, the son of John and Elizabeth Paulger. He was born January 15, 1829 in Nottinghamshire, England, and died May 7, 1904. They are both buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

2. Betsey Ann Sackett birthdate is unknown. She died in 1910. She married three times: 1. John Hendricks; 2. Samuel Booth; and 3. Hiram Snyder. There is no other information regarding Betsey Sackett(Hendricks-Booth-Snyder).

3. William Riley Sackett, his birthdate is unknown, but states he died at age of 9 yrs.

4. Ezekiel H. Sackett was born October 10, 1836 in Redford Township, Michigan and died July 5, 1918. He married 4 times: 1. Cynthia Booth; 2. Ellen Spencer ; 3. Elizabeth Eldridge; and 4. Jennie Buckley. He also served in the Civil War Company C 1st Michigan Calvary, and is buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. Ezekiel was the father of 3 children:
1. Louis, who died at the age of 2 years and 6 months.
2. Inez who later married to Charles Hayner and
3. Bertha who married a man named, Freeman.

5. Harriet Diantha Sackett was born in 1839 in Redford Township and died April of 1900. She was married to Henry Newman. There are no other details listed.

6. Martin Van Buren Sackett was born May 10, 1840 in Redford Township, Michigan. He died March 13, 1914 and is buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. He married on November 20, 1862 to Susan Amy Booth, who was born March 13, 1845 and died April 13, 1886. He also served in the Civil War Company B 10th Michigan Calvary. He is the father of 9 children:

1. Nellie V. Sackett born November 7, 1867. Died March 2, 1939 in Union City, Pennsylvania. She married in Redford Township, Michigan December 19, 1888 to Fleet Davis, the son of Edmund and Jane (Clawson) David, he was born February 14, 1863 in Crawford County, PA and died March 5, 1920 in Mosiertown, Pennsylvania. Nellie married a second time to Burt Hills on November 5, 1924. He is the son of Paul and Susan (Blystone) Hills and was born April 8, 1964 in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Burt Hills died March 29, 1931 in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Nellie and Fleet Davis had 3 children:
1. Ola who was born March 8, 1893 in Cussewago Township, Pennsylvania.
2. Susan Jane who was born July 28, 1895 in Cussewago Township, Pennsylvania ; and
3. Bertha Eloise was born Arpil 28, 1907 in Cussewago Township, Pennsylvania and died May 30, 1939, in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

2. Charles Sackett was born December 17, 1868 and died April of 1878, and is buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

3. Fred Sackett was born in December of 1870 and died June 13, 187? (illedgable). He is buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

4. Ola Sackett was born June 13, 1872 and married November 20, 1894 to Harry E. Pierce, the son of Charles and Sarepta (Prindle) Pierce. He was born November 3, 1873. Ola was mother to 2 children:
1. Ralph born October 7, 1895 and
2. Gladys Harriet born January 7, 1901.

5. Evaline Sackett was born June 14, 1874 and married Dexter M. Green on October 28, 1897. He was the son of William and Ruhamah C. (Beckwith) Green and was born January 8, 1865 and died November 24, 1931 in Northville, Michigan. He is buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. Evaline married a second time to Charles A. Lahser, the son of Charles and Christine (Seyfourth) Lahser , he was born February 8, 1869 and died December 16, 1937. He is buried in the Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit. She is not known to have had any children.

6. Cora A. Sackett was born June 16, 1876 and married November 24, 1904 to Dewitt C. Cooper, the son of Loren and Maria Ann (Riley) Cooper, he was born October 1, 1876 and died March 31, 1932 in Brighton, Michigan. He is buried in the Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit. Cora was mother to 4 children:
1. Susan Mae born April 24, 1907 ;
2. Ansel Dewitt, born Septmber 30, 1908 and died February 3, 1910 (burial Grand Lawn Cemetery) ;
3. Esther Euretta born July 18, 1911 ; and
4. Marshall Clinton born November 30, 1915.

7. Euretta D. Sackett was born April 13, 1878 and died January 21, 1911. She was buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. She married December 21, 1897 to Perry Losey, the son of Sylvester and Charlotte (Proctor) Losey and was born October 12, 1876 in old Wallaceville, Michigan (now Dearborn Heights area). She had 4 children :
1. Harold born October 29, 1899 in Plymouth, MI ;
2. Clyde who was born and died in 1901 and is buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery ;
3. Evaline who was born January 3, 1906; and
4. Willard born January 7, 1909.

8. David Sackett was born November 29, 1879 and died December 28, 1938 in Brighton, Michigan. He is buried at the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. He married first to Minnie Gottschalk and second to Christina Mast, the daughter of John and Veronica (Weideleich) Mast. She was born November 12, 1881 and died in 1960. She is buried next to her husband, David at Bell Branch Cemetery. David and Minnie had one child: Martin, who was born January 7, 1904. He was also adopted father to Christina's daughter, Helen who was born November 8th (year states 1808, which doesn't fit, and 1908, would fit in after their 1907 marriage, making him biological father, so that date isn't correct either----her year of birth is unknown).

9. William Owen Sackett is the last child born to Martin V. Sackett and his wife, Susan (Booth) Sackett. He was born December 13, 1881 and died October 29, 1918 and is also buried at Bell Branch Cemetery. He married in 1901 to Alma A. Franklin, the daughter of John and Viola A. (Colby) Franklin. They had 3 children:
1. Helen;
2. Owen ; and
3. Fred W. who was born 1906 and died 1908. He is buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery.

The 7th child of Charles Sackett and his wife, Eliza Ann (DeGraw) Sackett is: 7. Fanny Lucinda born February 10, 1842 Redford Township and died June 11, 1923. She later married John Hodges.

8. Evaline Sackett born December 31, 1843 in Reford Michigan, and has no recorded death date. She married an Edward Hazen.

9. Rachel E. Sackett was born August 13, 1847 in Redford Township, MI and died March 5, 1938. She married on January 16, 1864 in Livonia, Michigan to James H. McCoy, who was born about 1841. He served in the Civil War Company I 7th Michigan Calvary. They are both buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

10. Sarah Lovina Sackett was was born September 25, 1850 in Redford Township, Michigan. She died April 20, 1897 in Mayville, Michigan. She married December 29, 1867 to Edwin Hiram Harris, the son of William Sly and Elizabeth (Wooden) Harris, and was born February 15, 1850. He died July 12, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan and is buried with his wife in the Mayville Cemetery, Mayville, Michigan. Sarah and Edwin had a total of 6 children:
1.Martin Henry Harris born March 14, 1869 and died June 5, 1892. He is buried in the Mayville Cemetery.
2. John Starkweather Harris who was born March 11, 1871 and died October 1, 1928. He is also buried in Mayville Cemetery. John married June 28, 1899 in Caro, Michigan Tuscola County, to Mary Genevieve Kern, the daughter of John and Maria (Appleford) Kern. She was born April 10, 1876 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. John and Mary had 3 children:

1. Leo Kern Harris born April 12, 1900.
2. Donald L. Harris born August 7, 1903.
3. Infant son (name unknown) who was born August 19, 1905 and died October 14, 1905.

3. Lee Bennett Harris born June 28, 1873
4. Mary Louise Harris born September 29, 1876. She married to Victor Herrick and had one daughter named Sarah Herrick, Sarah later married to Herbert Dell
5. Eva Lee Harris was born August 19, 1880 and died October 9, 1900. She is buried in the Mayville Cemetery.
6. Inez Minnie Harris was born November 4, 1885 and married L.L. Stricker. There is no death information for either of these descendents.

The last and 11th child of Charles Sackett and his wife, Eliza (DeGraw) Sackett, is Mary Sackett who has no birth information after her name, however died in September of 1883. It is also noted a marriage to Lee Herrick.

Lucinda Sackett the second child of Ezekiel and Elizabeth was born June 4, 1811 in New York State. She married John Morris, the son of Matthew and Abigail Morris, he was born October 20, 1803. The Morris's came to Redford Township about 1830 and settled their homestead on government purchased land. John Morris died May 3, 1858, and Lucinda died November 8, 1888. They are both buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. Their union bore 10 children:

1. George F. Morris born September 3, 1829. He married on March 4, 1849 to Polly M. Ferrington, the daughter of George W. and Prudence (Pearsall) Ferrington, and she was born August 5, 1832. George died August 8, 1898 and his wife, Polly died December 4, 1900. They moved to Clinton County, Michigan and are both buried in St Johns Cemetery. They had one son: John Morris who married in December of 1877 to Avis Katherine Perrin.

2. Lucy Jane Morris was born June 23, 1831 and died August 26, 1832. She is buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

3. Lucy Ann Morris was born March 17, 1833 and died April 6, 1919. She married March 4, 1858 to Joseph C. Clizbe, the son of Eric and Eliza Ann (Glass) Clizbe. He was born April 18, 1833 and died December 28, 1906. They are both buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. Lucy and Joseph had 2 children:
1. Reuben E. Clizbe born October 13, 1866 and died January 16, 1867, burial Bell Branch Cemetery.
2. Frank E. Clizbe born July 14, 1868 died April 16, 1940, burial Bell Branch Cemetery. There is no information listed as to whether or not, Frank married or had any children.

4. James D. Morris was born January 8, 1835 and married July 2, 1855 to Cynthia A. Reed, the daughter of John and Polly (Coon) Reed, she was born in 1837. James died November 28, 1859 and Cynthia died in 1912. They are both buried in Bell Branch Cemetery. There is not information listed as to whether or not they had any children.

5. Frank Morris. The only information listed for this descendant is that he resided in Owosso, Michigan. Whether he married and had children, is not listed.

6. Susan Morris was born June 20, 1839 and died November 21, 1914. She married October 27, 1859 to Thomas S. Hood who was born in 1837 and died August 22, 1924. They are both buried in Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit. They had 2 children:
1. William J. Hood who married in 1890 to Jerusah Minock, the daughter of John and Rebecca (Naylor) Minock
2. Frank Hood, who has no other information listed.

7. Robert W. Morris was born December 17, 1841 and died February 15, 1899. He served almost 25 years on the Detroit Police Force. He married Mary Jane (maiden name not given) who was born in 1841 and died May 12, 1931 in Birmingham, Michigan. They are buried in Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit. They had one child
1. Delbert C. Morris, no other information is listed.

8. Emery C. Morris was born October 8, 1844. He served in the Civil War Company M 1st E&M of Michigan. He maried Lydia A. Prindle, the daughter of John M. and Harriet S. (Ferrington) Prindle. She was born in 1846, and died in 1898. Emery died December 23, 1938 and they are both buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. Emery and Lydia had 7 children:
1. Almeron Morris born November 24, 1867 died in 1889. He was married to Nettie Vizard. There are no other details listed.
2. John Morris was born November 30, 1868 and died August 12, 1869. He is buried at Bell Branch Cemetery.
3. George C. Morris was born in 1870 and died in 1900. He is buried at Bell Branch Cemetery, and there are no other details listed.
4. Nellie A. Morris was born in 1872 and died in 1920. She is buried at Bell Branch Cemetery. She was married to a man named Beveridge. There are no other details listed.
5. Lina Morris there is no other information listed.
6. Marry Morris married to William Shay, however there are no other details listed.
7. Nina I. Morris, was born June 12, 1881 and died August 1, 1881. She is buried at Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.
The 9th child of Lucinda Sackett and John Morris was Sarah J. Morris. She was born February 16, 1847 and died April 22, 1925. She married Hugh Houk who was born in 1843 and died February 19, 1911. They are both buried in Grand Lawn Cemetery. They had 2 children:
1. Infant son who was born and died on August 2, 1868 and is buried at Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit.
2. George M. Houk , however there is no information listed.

10. Henry Morris was born February 7, 1850 and died December 27, 1851. He is buried at Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

The third child of Ezikiel and Elizabeth (Woodward) Sackett was David W. Sackett who was born April 4, 1817 in New York State. He died July 2, 1880 in Plymouth, Michigan where he had resided for about 15 years, having come from Redford Township, where he had lived since 1831. David W. Sackett was a District Representative in the state Legislature in Lansing. He married January 1, 1839 to Emeline Prindle, the daughter of Enos and Eleanor Prindle. She was born May 3, 1819 and died June 16, 1884. They are both buried at Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. They had a total of 11 children:

1. Edwin Sackett who was born May 7, 1840 in Redford Township, Michigan. He married December 25, 1862 in Redford, by Justice of the Peace, William A. Smith to Clarissa Beckwith, the daughter of Sheldon and Betsey Beckwich. She was born September 7, 1841 and died July 9, 1911. Edwin Sackett died November 16, 1893 and they are both buried in Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit. They were the parents to 12 children:

1. Wilbur Sackett who was born November 13, 1863. He married June 30, 1897 to Marguerite Kennedy, who was born November 21, 1873. They had one child: Evelyn H. Sackett born April 9, 1898 and in July of 1925 she married to George Zube.

2. Custer Sheldon Sackett was born December 4, 1864 and died September 22, 1926. He married to Matie B. Camp and was buried in Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit. They had 2 children:
Aletia Gertrude Sackett born March 23, 1894 and died August 10, 1894 and
Laura Antoinette Sackett born May 29, 1896 who married August 2, 1937 to Burkett V. Duty. There is no other information regarding their deaths, or any children.

3. Fred B. Sackett was born January 10, 1867. He died in Montana on September 28, 1904. There are no other details listed.

4. Emeline Elizabeth Sackett was born March 21, 1869. She married January 4, 1898 to George V. Hatt, he was born May 28, 1870. Emeline died September 12, 1932 and her husband, George died December 5, 1936. The are buried at Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit. Apparently no children.

5. John J. Sackett was born July 2, 1870 and married May 5, 1909 to Anna McIntosh. She was born April 23, 1877. John died December 6, 1920. There is no listing of any children, or burials.

6. George Herbert Sackett was born May 30, 1872 and married in October of 1896 to Charlotte Agnes Besancon, the daughter of George Besancon. She was born August 5, 1878 and had one child with George:
Geraldine Lucille Sackett born July 29, 1902 who married in October of 1925 to Dr. Walter James McCarthy, D.D.S.

7. Josie Estelle Sackett was born November 10, 1873 and married first on August 3, 1918 to William Purdy who was born June 30, 1861. He died November 7, 1928 and Josie remarried December 21, 1933 to George V. Hatt. (This is the same George Hatt who had previously been married to Josie's sister, Emeline. They married after Emeline's death.)

8. Milton David Sackett was born May 17, 1875 and married October 23, 1901 to Cora May Drew, who was born May 22, 1878. There are no other details listed.

9. Ansel Lloyd Sackett was born October 8, 1876 and married August 7, 1918 to Evelyn Hickey. She was born July 31st, however no birth year is listed. They had 2 children:

2. Edwin William born August 1, 1920 died April 5, 1921.

10. Etta Armina Sackett was born June 15, 1878 and Married February 28, 1907 to William F. Turnbull, the son of James and Margaret Turnbull, he was born May 4th. There is no birth year listed for him. They had 2 children:

The second child of David W. Sackett and Emeline (Prindle) was Franklin Sackett who was born April 27, 1843 in Redford Township. He married August 7, 1864 in Livonia, Michigan to Mary Elizabeth Chillson, the daughter of Benjamin and Harriet (Bryan) Chillson. She was born November 18, 1844 in Livonia, MI. Franklin died May 17, 1901 and his wife, Mary died April 5, 1926. They are both buried in Mount Rest Cemetery, St Johns, Michigan. They had 3 children:

1. William Riley Sackett born June 3, 1865 Redford, Michigan. He married October 10, 1893 in Newark, Gratiot County, Michigan to Emma Lemley, the daughter of Jacob and Malinda (Graham) Lemley. She was born October 4, 1866 in Newark, Michigan. William died August 14, 1902 in Detroit and is buried in Mount Rest Cemetery, St. Johns Michigan. They had 4 children:

She married December 25, 1867 in Plymouth, Michigan to Ira Winans and had one daughter, Ettie Winas, who was born March 26, 1896 and died May 20, 1871. She is buried near her mother, in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

4. Mary Sackett was born July 31, 1847 in Redford, Michigan. She died June 30, 1903 in Detroit, Michigan and was buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. She married April 6, 1884 in Northville, Michigan to Joseph F. Daly.

5. Jack Sackett was born December 29, 1848 and died August 17, 1849 in Redford, Michigan. He his buried at Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

2. Johanna Martina born April 20, 1909 who married December 29, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Walter F. Fysh.
3. Louise born in 1912 and married June 28, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to Clinton C. Everts.

4. Minne Ann Sackett was born February 25, 1883. She married to Charles Delaire, however there are no details listed.

5. Royal Lewis Sackett was born April 4, 1885 and married May 29, 1907 to Jessie V. Burtler. She was born March 12, 1885 and died August 25, 1939. She is buried in Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit. They had 2 children:
1. Eva Kathleen born December 25, 1909 died December 27, 1909 ; and
2. Infant born October 13, 1921 died December 23, 1921 buried in Grand Lawn Cemetery. There is no given name listed.

6. Mildred Inez Sackett was born January 30, 1887. She married first to Charles R. Baldwin and second to a man named, Barnes. There are no other details listed.

The 8th child of David Sackett and Emeline (Prindle) Sackett was Emma Sackett who was born February 22, 1854 in Redford, Michigan. She died September 21, 1887 in Northville, Michigan and is buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. She was unmarried and had no children.

9. Infant Son was born December 1, 1857 and died January 31, 1858 in Redford, Michigan. He is buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.

10. Ella Sackett was born May 28, 1860 in Redford, Michigan. She died in Detroit on July 22, 1903 and was buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. She married November 30, 1881 in Plymouth, Michigan to William Purdy who was born June 30, 1861 and died November 7, 1928 in Detroit. He is buried in Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit.

The fourth child of Ezekiel and Elizabeth (Woodward) Sackett was Harriet E. Sackett. She was born March 24, 1819 in New York State. She married in 1839 to Merrill Colby, the son of Merrill and Esther Colby. Harriet died June 4, 1900 and is buried at Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. She was the mother of 6 children:

1. Charles Colby, there is no information listed here.
2. Aditha A. Colby born June of 1843 and died March 16, 1852. She is buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford
3. Merrill M. Colby born March of 1850 and died September 13, 1850. He is buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.
4. Viola A. Colby born August 23, 1851. She married January 5, 1871 to John Franklin, who was born in 1844 and died in 1928. Viola died April 17, 1900. They were parents to 9 children:

The fifth child of Ezekeil and Elizabeth (Woodward) Sackett, was a son, John Benjamin Sackett. He was born February 8, 1821 in New York State and came to Redford Township, with his parents about 1831. He married APril 3, 1839 in Redford to Diantha Hutchinson, the daughter of Abram and Almyra Hutchinson. She was born in 1823. John Benjamin served as Wayne County Auditor for several years. He died December 28, 1868 and is buried in the Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford. His wife, died July 12, 1891 and is also buried at Bell Branch. John Benjamin and Diantha had 3 children:

1. Caroline Sackett who was born July 1, 1841 in Redford Township. She died January 8, 1917 and is buried in Bell Branch Cemetery. The papers state she was never married and had no children.
2. Maria M. Sackett was born August 13, 1842 in Redford Township, Michigan. She married December 25, 1864 in Redford to Avery Jehiel Chillson, the son of Benjamin and Harriet (Bryan) Chillson. He was born December 27, 1839 in Livonia Township , Michigan. Maria died March 20, 1914 in Willow, Michigan and Avery died February 27, 1925 in Wayne, Michigan. They are both buried in Livonia Center Cemetery, Livonia. Avery Chillson was one of the first members of the family to spell his surname with only one L, Chilson. They resided in Wayne County, Michigan most of their lives, except for a few years spent in Livingston County, where they resided about 5 mile west of Brighton. They had a total of 6 children:

1. Warren Chilson born October 8, 1865 died September 3, 1866. He is buried in Bell Branch Cemetery, Redford.
2. Adna Benjamin Chilson who was born November 24, 1867 and married February 19, 1891 to Helen Penelia Coates, the daughter of Augustus and Mary (Porter) Coates. She was born January 29, 1872 in Novi, Michigan and died July 10, 1940 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Adna died January 15, 1902 and is buried at Bell Branch Cemetery. They had 2 children:

3. Emerson Wayne Chilson was born March 2, 1871 and died February 22, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. There is no information regarding a spouse or children.
4. William Wingert Chilson was born September 21, 1873 and married in Rochester, New York on August 4, 1900. His wife was Fay Annie Herzog, the daughter of Joseph and Annie (Heidlinger) Herzog, she was born August 3, 1876 in Buffalo, New York. William died December 7, 192 in Willow, Michigan and is buried at Livonia Center Cemetery, Livonia. William had one child, a son, Wayne Allen Chilson born December 4, 1907 in Buffalo, New York. There are no other details listed.
5. Cummings Fay Chilson was born February 28, 1876 and married December 25, 1906 in Cleveland, Ohio to Annie Marie Weigel. She was the daughter of John Weigel and born January 8, 1870. She died February 21, 1925. Cummings married a second time on December 16, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to Ida Feidler. There is no information regarding the death or burial of Cummings Chilson, however one adopted daughter is listed:

He married February 28, 1869 to Harriet A. Eliot, the daughter of Chester and Emma (Hurlburt) Eliot. She was born March 27, 1951 and died in Detroit on January 22, 1910. They had one daughter:

He died December 11, 1889 in Redford, and is buried with Prudence in Bell Branch Cemetery. Prudence (Sackett) and Hiram Pierce were parents to 8 children:

1. Thomas H. Pierce born August 15, 1844 and married June 1, 1867 to Emma Vaness. They had two children
Elmer H. Pierce born September 4, 1867 ; and

The last child of Ezekiel Sackett and Elizabeth (Woodward) Sackett was Elizabeth Sackett who was born December 14, 1829 in New York State. She married January 1, 1849 in Redford Township to Jonathan Wright, the son of Edward and Jane Wright. He served in the Civil War Company D. 4th Michigan Calvary and died of a disease in Lebanon, Kentucky on October 21, 1862. He is buried in the National Cemetery, in Lebanon, KY. They had a total of 6 children:

1. Sarah Wright who married first to a man named Booth and second a man named Hodges. There are no other details listed.
2. Edward E. Wright born August 12, 1851 and died in September of 1923. He married Catherine Postiff, who was born October 27, 1848 and died December 11, 1927. She is buried in Bell Branch Cemetery. They had 10 children:
