12th century. Vaguely behind the text are two bell tents with ball apexes, the roof section are shown on the right hand tent only. The door ways are held wide (probably by flap hooks). The figure of a person can be seen reclining inside each tent. “Pietro da Eboli, De balneis Puteolanis, 13th - 14th century,...21 ff., Gothic bookscript (textualis), Rome BAV (Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana) MS 1474. The manuscript is a product of Southern Italy, most probably of the Neapolitan school.
