1530 - 1534 A.D. Three bell tents in the small scene at the bottom right of the ms. 

Front bell tent, roof and wall coloured in alternate vertical stripes of red and gold, from the ball and disc apex flies a red and gold three tailed banner, scalloped roof edge with black edging and black tassels. 

The bell tents behind are coloured the same as the front tent, the tent on the left has a square banner and the tent on right has a two tailed gold banner. 

More bell tents can just be seen in the background between the tents mentioned above and the castle under siege.

This splendid codex, made for Don Fernado of Portugal (1507 - 34), brother of King John III, contains a genealogy of the family surrounded with small scenes. The illumination is attributed to Simon Bening...The page illustrated has the family tree of the Kings of Aragon...”
