six stalls left of Metz.
A myriad of tents in the various encampments, the stalls along the road add an unique prospective in tent design. The prolific number of wedge tents and the lack of bell tents is significant. Note the use of turf or grass as a roofing materials on a number of abodes. Four bell tents, one pavilion and thirty eight wedge tents above Metz. Two bell tents, three pavilions, eighteen wedge tents, one cone tent and one wall tent to the right of Metz. |
