Renaissance Foreground. Seven bell tents, two wall tents and six wedge tents. 

White bell tent, gold ball apex, dark apron, dark zig zag line around roof just below apron, a row of dark 'x' decorate the valance, single point guy ropes from valance, straight topped door outlined in two dark lines, door flap pulled to one side, bottom edge pegging, bottom of pole may be visible, red panel on the right wall of the tent. 

White bell tent, two tailed dark pennon flies a top a large gold ball apex, red apron with deep serrated bottom edge, alternate blank and white valance, thin black stripes descend from the valance to a dark band around the bottom edge of the wall, stripped door flap held to one side to reveal the pole and dark inner wall, guy ropes and bottom edge pegging, some red design in the white section of the valance. 

White bell tent, red banner, above a gold ball apex, orange apron, three rows of dots surround the roof, the top two rows are obscured, the bottom row of dots are red, the valance is decorated by a row of dark interlocking 'v's on the side, dark stripes descend from the valance, guy ropes and bottom edge pegging. 

White wall tent, no apex or ridge decoration, panel definition on roof, dark scalloped valance which extends up the roof edge at the end of the tent, possibly some guy ropes depicted. 

White wall tent, no apex or ridge decoration, no panel definition on roof, similar valance decoration as previous tent, alternate dark and white panels on side wall but not front wall, grid above straight topped door, door outlined by two dark lines, door flap held to one side, guy ropes and bottom edge pegging. 

White bell tent, red banner flies a top a gold ball apex, dark apron with long round lobes descending down each panel, each panel is defined by dark edging, the valance is thin, dark and has a small scalloped bottom edge, wall panels are defined by light red lines, straight topped door defined by an outlined of dark lines, a '2' decorates the top of the door way, the door flap shows the same red lines as the walls and is held to one side, guy ropes and bottom edge pegging, the bottom of the pole is visible. 

The picture is bigger than represented here, a bell tents walls can be seen on the far left. 

White bell tent, black three tailed banner, gold ball apex, gold apron surrounded by a black band, alternate black and gold valance. 

White bell tent, two tailed black banner, gold ball apex, white valance with black border and black scroll decoration, guy ropes. 

The six white wedge tents show no front panels, the centre front pole, guy ropes from the front pole and bottom edge pegging along the side visible.

'Alfonso, Duke of Calabria, and his troops march into the town of Colle in the climatic event of the Papal-Neapolitan war against Florence. At the head of their standards is the Papal banner, with its miter and key insignia.
