Introduction to the Sankeertana
The Sankeertana is one of the 32,000 sung by Sri Annamacharya in praise of Lord Venkateswara.  The mahima of Tirumala Hills is depicted in this Sankeertana. The Sacred Seven Hills, as he truthfully says, are the
moksha-marga for the devotees! Each shila (stone) on Tirumala is a saalagramam (this is the reason why we should not wear slippers or other paada-rakshas while ascending the sacred seven hills as also while moving around Tirumala).

Meaning
Hey! Behold! Look at the abode of the Lord! The Home of the Lord who sits on the large snake with 10,000 heads.
The sacred seven hills are the supreme of everything existing in this universe;
The Lord's abode is the beloved home of Gods and Goddesses, including Lord Brahma;
It is the permanent home to the saints;
It is the most sacred of all things on the earth!
It is the treasure lying underground;
It is the first step for attainment of mokha/kaivalya;
It is the greatest and the holiest place on the Earth!
