Introduction to the Keerthana
The sankeerthana describes the gracious grandeur of Sri Mahalakshmi in various forms, like Jaya Lakshmi - The Goddess of Victory, Vara Lakshmi - The Goddess of Boons and Blessing, Veera Lakshmi - the Goddess of Courage... Let us all be blessed by Her generous presence !!

Meaning of the Sankeerthana
[Needless to mention, the meaning is a mediocre effort to explain, among other things,
the nearest annotation in the given context, and is not an expert's translation.
It is basically meant for those who have no knowledge of Telugu.]
Oh Mother, the Giver of Courage, Blessings and Victory, You have emerged as the dearest of Lord Vishnu! Oh Mother, You have emerged from the Ocean of Milk, from the finest of the cream within, You bear the fragrance of the freshest lotus, You have surfaced on the chest of Lord Vishnu with elegance, You are the Ruler of the Seven Worlds; Now please rule us with poise!!
Oh Mother, You are the lovely sister of Chandra (Moon) [Goddess Lakshmi, Moon and a lot of wealth emerged during Sagara Mathanam], You are the protector of the Supreme Souls, You are the charming dear of Govinda, Please reside in us and bless us!!
Oh Mother, You are the ensemble of all the 16-beauties a woman is supposed to possess; You are the bud of all the Vedas, their genesis and eternity; The consort of Lord Venkateswara, You bestow all those who beckons wealth; we are none other than Yours - Bless us, protect us with warmth !!
