Introduction to the Keerthana

This Sankeerthana, an address to the devotees of the Lord, illustrates how easily He can be PLEASED and how equally He is accessible to everyone. He who is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient is always at hand and takes care of His devotees in any situation. The devotee who surrenders to the Lord ( Saranagati ) is taken care of, nurtured and protected at all times. This geetam is a direction to devotees to 'sincerely believe' in the Lord and realise His significance in and for the life of a human being. The Lord who is invincible and all-powerful granted 'moksha sadhana' to many of His devotees. He can as well grant the desires of His devotees. The keerthana is a demonstration that the devotees should seek His 'protective umbrella', assimilate eternal bliss and attain salvation.

Meaning of the Sankeerthana

[Needless to mention, the meaning is a mediocre effort to explain, among other things, the nearest annotation in the given context, and is not an expert's translation. It is basically meant for those who have no knowledge of Telugu.]

Devotees Behold! Here is Lord Narayana, seek His blessings and be protected by surrendering to His Lotus Feet !

The Lord is omnipresent and all-pervading; discover Him to be always around you for He will support you, should you surrender. The Lord who measured the whole universe with His three steps could very well grant you the universe with utmost eagerness.

The Lord is always ready to serve you and grant you all the wishes, provided you pronounce Him, believe in Him sincerely and seek His refuge. The Lord who crushed the mighty demons and protected the universe will always save those who surrender to His Lotus Feet.

Imagine the image of the Lord in everything and perceive every act to be in His service. The Lord, who s'installé (incarnated Himself) on the mighty Venkatadri mountains and who is ready to annihilate sins of His devotees, is pleased when you sing in His praise enduringly. The Lord is ready to soothe us all!
