Introduction to the Geetham
Viduvaraadu... — once a very popular song AIR used to broadcast in their Bhakti Ranjani/Archana programmes — sung by various singers in chorus is, as is remembered and recollected, reproduced for the benefit of devotees of both Lord Siva and Lord Narayana. "Viduva radu" is one of the valuable masterpieces that is lost in time. It is hoped that this geetham in light music (lalitha sangeetham) may refresh somebody's nostalgia. The greatness of this song is that it renders everybody to continue singing and chanting the names of Lord Siva and Lord Narayana alike without giving any chance to forget or fade out from mind, not even for a minute. In fact, this song acts as a reminder, an order to one's mind never to stop or forget chanting of the Lord's name ~ Nama Bhajana, in any situation.
