Finally I got started on the drive system and electronics, There was a long lag between the bare hull and what you will see here. I got rather discouraged when no-one was gettiong interested in the hobby. Then I visited a fellow builder on a trip to Calgary and I was building like a madman. |

The track and sprockets are from INTRALOX, I don't think I'd pay the money if I had it to do over though. |

The axles still need trimming in places but you can get a good idea of the roadwheel layout in this pic. |

This is how I made all the axles independant suspension. A lot of work and a real pain in the end, as the suspension gives the track loosens and can slip. |

Here is my drive system. the motors have a 90 degree gearbox on them but I couldn't fit them far enough forward for direct drive. |

I am using two wheelchair motors in my tank. I got them on ebay some time ago. The plate they are mounted on also has a tensioner attatched underneath. |
