NORTH DAKOTA LICENSE & REGULATIONS
Pheasants
The limit is 3 roosters per day per hunter, and 12 in possession.

Pheasants may be hunted from 1/2 hour before sunrise until sunset.

Season opens October 12, 2002 and closes Jan 5, 2003.

The pheasant season and deer season run concurrently.
Deer
Bow season starts September 3, 2004 and runs through Jan. 2, 2005. (Tentative)

A bow hunter may harvest either sex of deer.

The North Dakota deer gun season opens at 12:00 noon on Friday, Nov. 5, '04 and closes Sunday, November 21, 2004.

Deer gun licenses are drawn by lottery.

Centerfire rifles 22 cal. and larger are legal.

There is no size restriction on deer.

Legal shooting hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise and 1/2 hour after sunset.
Fees
All resident hunting licenses require a $1 hunting certificate and a $13 general game stamp.

A resident deer bow license costs $20.

A resident deer gun license costs $20.

A resident small game license (for pheasants) costs $6.

All non-resident hunting licenses require a $2 hunting certificate and the $13 general game & habitat stamp.

A non-resident deer bow license costs $200.

A non-resident deer gun license costs $200.

A non-resident small game license costs $85.  The total license fee for pheasants is $85 + $13 + 2 = $100.
