Welcome to the
official Honolulu Hyacks homepage. The Hyacks are heading into their third season, and they do not intend to disappoint. Last season was pretty much thrown with the deal that sent superstar LW to the lost city Banshees in exchaneg for D Derian Hatcher, RW Jochen Hecht, and C Mike York. Noticebly the offense for the Hyacks dried up some but hopefully young guys like Richards, Doan, and Hecht will mature a bit this offseason and possibly pick up the pace. The Hyacks have a lot more depth now at all positions than at the start of the past season. There are only good things to come...
In other news of note the Honolulu Hyacks are pleased to announce the firing of Phil Bourque who was the assistant coach. Asst. Coach Bourque and GM Hogan had a war of words a little while ago and Mr. Bourque is no longer a part ofthis organization. Good luck you selfish arrogent prick.

Update: Sunday, May 14th, 2000:
The Honolulu Hyacks revealed their jersey along with their logo today. Said the designer: "I am not quite sure what the hell a hermit crab has to do with Hawaii, but that's what Mr. Hogan asked for, so I did it." GM/President Ken Hogan's response: "What more menacing creature than a crab, could inflict as much stress and despair for it's victims." The Honolulu Hyacks along with their crab plan to spread through the CNGHL and infect all their opponents with a stinging itch of defeat once the season commences.
