Anna Maria Island Page

My family and I love to go to the beach. One of our favorite beaches is Anna Maria Island. After looking at these pictures, I'm sure you'll see why. To save loading time, these are thumbnail images. Click on the images to view the larger picture.

Here's a beautiful Florida Sunset and a picture of Anna Maria Island from the Pier. Aren't those colors beautiful? I also used the sunset picture to make the background on this page.

These are my children, Breanna and Mason, at the end of the Oyster Bar Pier and by the sign detailing the history of the Pier. On weekends they have a band that plays. You can also see lots of interesting things at the pier. Once when we were there a guy caught a huge barracuda right off the pier! And another time we saw a school of dolphins.

That's my son Mason taking a break on a rock. Pelicans are also in there in large numbers as many people fish from the pier. It's really something to see these huge birds swoop down from the sky and catch fish.

My cousin Megan went with us one time. Here she is posing by the pier. . .and being a Pro (ha ha) fisherman. Like her catch?
