The sequel to Agent Under Fire, Nightfire is another first-person shooter starting Agent 007. The plot of Nightfire involves a megalomanical
millionaire who is attempting to hijack a US military space defense array
(think Ronald Reagan's "star wars" initiative). Bond must work
his way through a variety of missions and foes before he can stop Drake. Associates of Drake include:
- Raphael Drake - Head of Phoenix Industries and primary antogonist of Nightfire.
- Alexander Mayhew - Security advisor for Phoenix Industries, who is in possession of files detailing a program called "Nightfire".
- Armitage Rook - Drake's bodyguard and the main henchman.
Bond also has some help along the way:
- Zoe Nightshade - First introduced in Agent Under Fire, the CIA agent makes a return appearance in Nightfire.
- Alura McCall - Austrailian agent who is working with MI6 as part of an exchange program.
- Dominque Paradise
- A French Intelligence agent who has passt history with Bond. She
infiltrates Drake's organization by posing as his girlfriend.
- Makiko Hayashi - Mayhew's personal bodyguard. After a tryst with 007, she betrays Mayhew and has him killed.
She also commands a troop of ninjas.
