Teddington Studios Between 1968 and 1992 Thames had two main studio complexes. The main production facilities (for Drama, Light Entertainment and Childrens Programmes) were housed in studios by the River Thames - at Teddington Lock, Middlesex. Originally these were film studios owned by Associated British Picture Corperation, and they had become TV studios when Associated British were asked to form ABC Television in the 1950s. The studios were then transfered to Thames Television in 1968.

Euston Studios The smaller production facilities (for News, Current Affairs and Documentaries) were initially housed in the former Rediffusion "Television House" in Kingsway, before the transfer into Thames' new Headquarters in Euston Road.
The Euston production facility was finally closed after the transfer of the London ITV Franchise to CarltonTV at the end of 1992, when Thames moved everything to Teddington.

Pearson TV - Stephen Street, London In 1993 Thames TV was bought by Pearson plc, and it became the foundation upon which Pearson Television was built.
In 1997, following the sale of Thames' river-side home at Teddington to Barnes Trust Media, Pearson Television moved to its newly built offices and studios at '1 Stephen Street' (just off Tottenham Court Road).
