This British cult classic enjoyed huge popularity in
Britain and arrived in the United States in 1967 with
Patrick Macnee as the stylish John Steed and Diana
Rigg as the dangerous (yet beautiful)Emma Peel.

Ian Hendry played Dr. David Keel, Steeds first partner,and only male partner, with the exception of Gambit from the New Avengers.
Honor Blackman, as Cathy Gale, took the reigns as
Steeds first female partner. Then, after Diana Rigg, came
Linda Thorson as Tara King.

The Avengers returned once again in 1998.
This time it was Ralph Fiennes and Uma Therman as Steed and Peel.
Patrick Macnee made a cameo as the Invisible Man. The movie was horrible, but ultimately made me want to see the original series more than ever. And, an obsession was born.
