• "Six Days, Seven Nights" opened at #2 in the box office.
• It appears that "Age of Aquarius" will be scrapped.
• The next Jack Ryan movie, "The Cardinal of the Kremlin," is still being retooled. Harrison Ford has sent the first two scripts back for rewrites.
• Harrison Ford made $72 million dollars from 1996 to 1997, ranking #11 on Forbes magazine list of top celebrity salaries.
• "Air Force One" opened at #1 in the box office, with the biggest opening for a Harrison Ford film, the biggest opening for an R-rated movie, and the second biggest opening for a Sony film. It's second week in release marked the biggest August weekend ever.
• Anne Heche of Volcano and Donnie Brasco has been selected to play opposite Harrison Ford in "Six Days, Seven Nights."
• "Return of the Jedi" reopened at the number one spot in the box office with $16.3 million dollars in ticket sales.
• Harrison Ford is reportedly in serious talks with Universal Studios to do a film about the war in Yugoslavia. Daily Variety reports that Ford is set to meet with writer and director Phil Alden Robinson to discuss the project, called "Age of Aquarius."
• "The Empire Strikes Back" reopened at the number one spot in the box office. The more than $22 million dollars in ticket sales was the biggest February opening ever.
• "Star Wars" became the first movie to break the $400 million mark and reclaimed the all-time No.1 spot in box office history.
• "Star Wars" reopened at the number one spot in the box office, making $36 million dollars - $30 million more than the number two movie and the biggest weekend release in January ever.
• After "Air Force One", Harrison Ford is schedule to make "Six Days, Seven Nights" - a romantic comedy about an uptight woman and a hard-drinking cargo pilot. The script is said to be nearly finished. Among the leading women said to be considered are Kristin Scott Thomas and Juliette Binochet.
• The action thriller "The Devil's Own" will finally open in March 1997, several months behind schedule!
• USA Today shows another side of Harrison Ford's career in the April 4, 1996 article "Japan's yen for U.S. stars" and its accompanying pictures.
• Harrison Ford has signed to star in an upcoming motion picture drama "Air Force One" in which he will play the President of the United States who is taken hostage aboard Air Force One.
• Rumor has it that the first version of an Indy 4 script has been written and both George Lucas and Steven Spielberg like it and are making adjustments.
• Sabrina has been nominated for 3 Golden Globes, including one for Harrison Ford in the Best Actor category
