Why Gene Kelly?

The question that started it all. Why not Gene Kelly? It's much safer to have an obsession with this legendary actor, dancer, singer, director, and star of such classic films as "Singin' in the Rain" than to have an obsession with guns, for instance.

As a matter of fact, I'm fairly sure that if everyone watched more Gene Kelly movies, the world would be a much safer, happier place.
