Shirley MacLaine
. . . has the distinction of being Kitty's favorite actress, after a long process of viewing, reviewing and consideration. And ya wanna know why? Shirley MacLaine can do anything. Absolutely anything. She can sing, she can dance, she can play any sort of role. In such classics as 1963's Irma La Douce, she plays a very independent woman, a role model of sorts. Her character in Some Came Running wins my vote as the most likable, edging past even Dean Martin for that honor, a definite feat given how annoying I found her character in Artists and Models. . .
I can't promise ya much of anything here yet, but give me some time, and I'll give ya a pretty good page. Here's a couple pictures while ya wait. . .
And a brief list of the great Shirley MacLaine's movies that I happen to have, and will get around to reviewing, one of these days. . .
