TVB's Five Tigers consisted of Felix Wong, Kent Tong, Miu Kiu Wai, Tony Leung, and Andy Lau.
They represented five young new stars that TVB were highly promoting in the 80's. These charming and
handsome stars each had their own unique acting talent. Each of these tigers have made unforgettable series.
Although some of these stars had a career change, they have left a deep impression on the audience. We will
never forget the tigers who contributed to making the golden 80's an unforgettable era.
Tony Leung Chiu Wai This charming and creative tiger is Tony Leung. In the 80's,Tony made many famous series.Tony proved to be a very highly versatile actor where he always leave the audience speechless at the different roles he played. Ambitious and hardworking, his talents were finally recognized internationally when he won Best Actor for "In the Mood for Love" at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. He is the first Asian to win this prestigious award.
Miu Kiu Wai This dashing, stunning, charming tiger is Miu Kiu Wai. His famous role was Chor Lau Heung, where he co-starred with Barbara Yung Mei Ling. Miu Kiu Wai excelled at playing both evil and good roles. He is currently retired from acting, but he occasionally does cameos. His recent cameo was for ATV in a series called "Chang Map Gia Cha."
Felix Wong Yat Wah Honest and sweet, Felix is a gifted actor who is a good role model to those around him. His great smile and heroic nature has a commanding effect on the screen. Felix series always have great value; two of his series, "Legend of the Condor Heroes" (1982) and "Looking Back in Anger" (1989) were voted the top 10 most watched series. Currently Felix is filming less and becoming more of a family man.

Kent Tong Chun Yip Kent Tong was the only tiger that didn't found great success as the other 4. Perhaps it was because of Barbara Yung's death or the fact that he was always casted as the antagonist that he wasn't well received by the audience. However, you must commend him for his determination and love for acting.
