1999-FEB-12: Associated Press - The National Park Service refused to allow filming of Sandra's new movie "28 Days" along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway because the movie company (Columbia TriStar Pictures) wants to build a two-story facade at the Peaks of Otter Lodge. Chief Ranger Gordon Wissinger said the Park Service would reconsider if the movie company came up with a plan that did not significantly alter the lodge.

1999-FEB-18: TNT Classic Movies aired "Warner Brothers Story: No Guts, No Glory - 75 Years of Award Winners" on Monday (February 15, 1999). I'm really sorry that I didn't mention this here sooner but I've been at the university for the whole week and had no idea Sandy would be in the program (no info neither in magazines nor in TNT videotext). Fortunately, I got a copy on videotape (big thanks to my parents and sister!) so here's what it was about. Sandra Bullock (along with another actors - yes, Sandra was the only female celebrity in the whole program!!!) was talking about Warner Bros. company and had comments on some movies of their production: Driving Miss Daisy, My Fair Lady (she mentioned her favorite actress Audrey Hepburn), Chariots of Fire and Casablanca. And, of course, she was so sweet and cute as usual.
