Powerless, and unable to stop the Evil Lord Zedd Rocky traveled to the Desert of Despair in search of Ninjor. When Ninjor was finally found and convinced the Rangers wanted Powers for good Rocky was given a new Power Coin based on his animal spirit the Ape. Rocky could Morph into the Red Ninja to fight Tengas and could do many tricks with his new Powers like going through or hiding in matter like trees. After Rocky lost his Powers due to Rita and Zedd's destroying the Red Ninja Coin he could no longer Morph into the Red Ninja Ranger.
