The Putties were Rita Repulsa's army of clay warriors. Finster molded the Putties out of space clay and brought them to life in the Monster Matic. They served Rita well but never got the job done against the Rangers. Every time they were defeated Finster would just make a new batch in hopes they would at least wear down the Rangers. When Lord Zedd took over he used his more Powerful Z Putties which could only be defeated by hitting the Z. The regular Putties were never seen again.
