Here you can find out what Amaya had to say about the roommates and what they had to say about her once they left Hawaii.

Amaya on her Roomates

On Teck: Teck is fun. Having him there was like having a little bit of sunshine in the house. You never get too deep with him. That's very refreshing since other people in the house were always trying to be all Dorothy Parker. Teck's very caring in his own way. He knows what's going on, he just dosen't want to get too involved.

On Colin:I'm going to miss Colin very much. And I hope that one day we can just be regular people and have a cup of coffee together. Actually, neither of us drink coffee, so hot chocolate. I care about Colin more than he knows. I hope he enjoys college, has a lot of fun, and finds love.

On Ruthie:I apologize to Ruthie for any misconceptions I've had. She can always be true to herself. I hope she remains happy and healthy. I thank her for giving me strenght. Of everybody in the house, I most admire her for staying as real as she did.

On Matt:When I first met Matt, I thought he had an edge. But then he became Mr. Rogers. Matt is a person I don't feel is entirely genuine. If he really was as nice as he appears to be, that would be amazing. He'd get a look on his face like there was a smart-ass comment lurking beneath the surface. Occasionally, it would come out. But usually he'd just mutter comments under his breath. He helped me in a couple of situations, like when I had a panic attack about my dad and the Colin situation.

On Kaia:Off camera, Kaia's nice, especially if she's to get something from you. On camera, she's very serious and deep. She's always trying to feel you and it's always very intense. The conversation couls be about you, but it would always turn back to her. I learned to trust Kaia and we were friends for a little bit. But will I be friends with her again? Oh God, no. Of anybody, she turned on me the most.

On Justin:I think that I could never consider Justin a good friend. He needs to step back and have some fun. The fact that he was denied a lot of childhood experiences has affected him negatively. I do admire that he fights hard for causes, but I don't identify with him at all. Wanna here a funny thing about him? He gets a weird smile on his face before he gets mad like he's about to laugh. It's very menacing. Come to think of it, he could be from a diffrent planet. I'd defintly but that

The Roommates on Amaya

Teck: Amaya will be an excellent wife. She's very sweet and very naive. She's also a good actress. She can cry at the drop of a hat. One thing though: I don't know why she wore those beat-up shoes on the first day.

Ruthie: I think Amaya has so much to be proud about. I don't know why she's so negative and moody. She can be cruel-well, not cruel, that's too harsh a word. But insensitive; she can definitely be that. When everyone started dissing on her in the end, I wasn't going to get petty about all of it. Amaya was rude to me and all that shit, but who cares? I don't think she knows how she acts. When the roommates confronted her, the look on her face was just shock. She didn't even know she'd been rude. You get what you give.

Matt: I think Amaya's a talented and creative woman who will succeed as long as she believes in herself. But in my opinion she has serious self-esteem issues.

Kaia: Amaya is a wonderful person. I loved being around her. But she's very moody. She's the moodiest person I've ever met. She says she's diffrent at home, and I'd like to see that. I do hope we become friends. It'll just take a while.

Colin: Amaya's an intelligent, funny, and sensitive woman who has the tendency to take people for granted

Justin: What can I say about Amaya? Good luck! That about sums it up

What the creators and the supervising producer had to say

Matt Kunitz, supervising producer: If a cast member interacts with a crew member or vise versa, they're "line-crossing". If anyone from this cast wanted to "line-cross" it was Amaya. She "batphoned" probably five times a day. She looked for solace from the crew, and I'm afraid we just couldn't give it to her. Amaya had significant problems connecting with the roommates. And toward the end of her time in Hawaii, she made some unfortunate strategic mistakes. But I also think she grew a tremendous amount. The way she called Kaia out for shunning and betraying her? She would not have been able to do that six weeks earlier.

Mary-Ellis Bunim, creator:I'm happy to say that I saw Amaya's potential to be a great cast member the moment I met her in San Francisco. She has such relatable issues: needing approval, poor body image, insecurity about the future. She works at being honest, yet has an innate dramatic streak. She'll be fascinating to watch as she evolves.

Jon Murray, creator:Amaya can't help but be herself even in front of a camera. She didn't censor herself; to the contrary, she let us see it all: good, bad,. and everything in between. As a result, I think she's grown a lot from the experience of being on The Real World
