david_poland_host: Hello everyone!!!
david_poland_host: We're here in Las Vegas, Nevada
david_poland_host: with the cast of X-Men
david_poland_host: Coming up first, Anna Paquin
david_poland_host: Anna plays Rogue!
xmen_live: Anna: How does this work?
xmen_live: Anna: You just terrified me!
xmen_live: Anna: It's really exciting to be part of this.
xmen_live: Anna: We just finished the movie a week and half or two weeks ago.
xmen_live: Anna: When you've been wearing the same thing for five months, you even get tired of the beautiful costumes!
xluquin asks: This question goes for all the actors, If this movie becomes a franchise, will you be willing to commit to more movies?
xmen_live: Sure!
xmen_live: David: Tell us a little bit about Rogue
xmen_live: Anna: I think there's a lot about Rogue that people can identify with - because of her ability and powers she's been quite lonely at times.
xmen_live: Anna: A lot of people have felt like that - but she's sort of the embodiment of that because of her powers.
xmen_live: David: Have you ever felt like that?
xmen_live: Everyone has.
xmen_live: David: Why did you take this role?
xmen_live: Anna: It's the X-Men I mean, how could you say no?
xmen_live: Anna: It's so fun and Bryan Singer and the cast and everything about it.
xmen_live: Anna: How could I not want to do this movie?
xmen_live: Anna: It's fun doing anything that's different. I like trying new things.
SFfunkywhiteboy asks: When preparing for your roles, did you guys read any issues of the X-men comic?
xmen_live: Anna: I read many, many, many, many, many issues of X-Men.
xmen_live: Anna: Many!
xmen_live: Anna: Rogue X-Men, any kind of X-Men!
xmen_live: Anna: I tried to research as thoroughly because I know that many people love this comic book.
xmen_live: Anna: I know that people are watching closely and I hope we've come close to living up to people's expectations!
bobthegoon2002 asks: What was it like working with Bryan Singer?
xmen_live: Anna: Bryan is amazing.
xmen_live: Anna; He's unbelievably talented.
xmen_live: Anna: And a great person and I loved working with him.
xmen_live: Anna: I loved The Usual Suspects.
tmeditor asks: For Anna Paquin: Will Rogue have her white hair streak in the film?
xmen_live: Anna: Hello tmeditor!
xmen_live: Anna: Wait and see!
xmen_live: Anna: You will not be disappointed.
xmen_live: Anna: I can tell you that!!
xmen_live: David: Are you an internet person?
xmen_live: Anna: My internet connection failed a few weeks ago.
xmen_live: Anna: I wish I could be a web person but I get frustrated when I can't find things.
xmen_live: Anna: In my spare time I hang out with friends, like photography and listening to music.
the_infamous_twinz asks: Anna Paquin, is your Rogue before or after the Ms. Marvel incident????
xmen_live: Anna: I'm not sure if saying that would give away things I'm not supposed to give away!
xmen_live: Anna: You'll have to go see the movie!
xmen_live: David: Tell us about the cast - what was the camaraderie like?
xmen_live: Anna: It doesn't matter that everyone is dressed as funny creatures - you still have a camaraderie.
xmen_live: Anna: Although the makeup department would have yelled at anyone who ruined the Blue Woman (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos).
xmen_live: David: What was it like working with Ian McKellen ?
xmen_live: Anna: Ian McKellen is very fun to make a movie with. I had a lot of good times with him.
xmen_live: Anna: I feel so lucky to get to work with someone like him.
xmen_live: Anna: I've shot in Canada a couple of times before.
xmen_live: Anna: Now I live in L.A.
xmen_live: Anna: I'm actually about to move to NY - a school choice.
xmen_live: Anna: I'm going to Columbia to study English Literature, maybe Psychology. Art history. Everything.
aurora_rosemarie asks: What did all of you guys think about your costumes?
xmen_live: Anna: I loved my costume! I couldn't really speak for anyone else.
xmen_live: Anna: Mine wasn't too complicated.
CoolDan989 asks: This one's for Anna: Do you visit your fan's websites, or answer any of your fan mail?
xmen_live: Anna: I am not online so I don't. I've never seen them - even when I did have the Internet. I didn't really think to do that, to look at my sites!
xmen_live: Bryan Singer, director of X-Men will be joining us as well during the chat. So please send in questions for him.
xmen_live: David: Thanks to Anna Paquin for stopping by to chat with us!
xmen_live: Anna: I like doing premieres - it's fun supporting something that you've worked really hard on and seeing it as a finished product!
xmen_live: David: The largest X-Man is joining us now.
xmen_live: David: Tyler Mane - Sabretooth is about to join us.
xmen_live: David: Welcome to the ongoing show.
xmen_live: Tyler: I am Sabretooth and it was a lot of fun.
xmen_live: David: Is Sabretooth a good buy or a bad guy?
xmen_live: Tyler: Sabretooth is a bad guy . We'll set that up.
xmen_live: Tyler: I spent 11 and a half years wrestling as a bad guy.
xmen_live: Tyler: There must be something about me that's evil! LOL!
xmen_live: Tyler: I got this role because they wanted me to do stunts. When Bryan (Singer, the director) saw me - he said come and read for Sabretooth.
xmen_live: Tyler: They liked the look and said this is Sabretooth and it's been a fun ride ever since.
xmen_live: Tyler: It was a great learning experience getting to work with all these people like Anna, Famke, Patrick Stuart, the list goes on and on!
xmen_live: Questions for Sabretooth.
jf_sebastian79 asks: Tyler, did you know much about the X-Men before the movie and did you do much research?
xmen_live: Tyler: I saw the cartoon on Saturdays - It's addictive.
xmen_live: Tyler: When I got the rule of Sabretooth I went down to the comic stores and asked for all their comics on X-Men.
xmen_live: Tyler: Which was the wrong thing to say because there were rows and rows of X-Men.
xmen_live: Tyler: So I said, do you have any on Sabretooth - and there was a whole section.
xmen_live: Tyler: I'd read the dialogue of Sabretooth to get in character. It helped a lot. It was really good research.
xmen_live: Here comes a Sabretooth impersonations.
Savior_Magneto asks: Tyler Mane did your wrestling experience help you during the movie?
xmen_live: Tyler: I spent 11 and a half years wrestling, learning the fight choreography, but you come to a big movie and they don't want you to get hurt so they brought in a stunt man!
theaskanison asks: with all of the internet hype and fan feedback, did you have any idea what you were getting into when you signed on?
xmen_live: Tyler: No, not really and it's probably a good thing.
xmen_live: Tyler: I did not really know that X-Men had been around for 38 years and is Marvel's largest franchise and had such a large following.
xmen_live: Tyler: The following is unbelievable.
xmen_live: Tyler: They had a million hits on the website when they showed the trailer.
xmen_live: x-men-the-movie.com <http://x-men-the-movie.com>
flyin_hawaiian_1 asks: Question for TYLER, What does your workout regimen consist of to stay in shape?
xmen_live: Tyler: As people know working out is 80% diet, 20% working out.
xmen_live: Tyler: I spend an hour in the gym doing cardio.
xmen_live: Tyler: And work out 6 days a week.
spider_man2032_00 asks: Would you play more bad guys in the future?
xmen_live: Tyler: Hey Spidey!
nicksoapdish03 asks: Tyler: If you and Hugh Jackman fought who would win?
xmen_live: Tyler: The bad guy is the fun part of the movie. You get to tear people up. You gotta let somebody tear you up to the end.
xmen_live: Tyler: Hey Spidey watch it - Sabre may be coming after you.
xmen_live: Tyler: It depends if he's got the blades or not!
t_catchu asks: Tyler, Sabretooth has a catch phrase "Boy-o" much like Wolverine's "Bub" Hugh says he got in a few Bubs... any 'boy-o"s?
xmen_live: Tyler: The boy o's are coming in the sequel!!!!
lk_maui asks: We think you are biggest and baddest!!! How tall are you Sabretooth??? and do you give out your weight????
xmen_live: Where do you guys come up with these screen names?!
xmen_live: 6 ft. 10 - 275
rave422 asks: Tyler: I'm sure that you had to do a lot of action scenes, especially with Wolverine. Did you ever get hurt during the filming?
xmen_live: Tyler: No with my wrestling training I was okay.
xmen_live: Tyler: You get some bumps and bruises
zenon_11218 asks: Tyler, what was the hardest part of being Sabretooth?
xmen_live: Tyler: The hardest part was just developing the character and that came with research.
xmen_live: Tyler: The fun part was the action and dealing with all the people I got to work with.
xmen_live: David: Bryan Singer - the director of X-Men will now be joining us!
xmen_live: Send in your questions for Bryan Singer!
xmen_live: And tune into the video webcast by clicking on the banner at the top of the screen!
xmen_live: We're chatting live from Las Vegas with the cast of X-Men!
xmen_live: David: Director Bryan Singer has just joined us!
xmen_live: David: Welcome to the Man of the Moment!
xmen_live: Bryan I'm more of a work person, but I'm proud to have cast here at Showest.
xmen_live: David: What was filming like?
xmen_live: Bryan: We had a happy show. I usually bear the stress.
xmen_live: Bryan: I'm in the cutting room right now.
xmen_live: Bryan: I'll wrap it up hours before the release date!
fandom_xfan asks: What would you like to say to those people who are criticizing the movie before it's even been released?
xmen_live: Bryan: Well they should see it!
xmen_live: Bryan: Anybody who's a big fan of something has some ideas of what it should be.
xmen_live: Bryan: I know that I will take this incredibly seriously. My partners have been fans of X-Men since they were children.
xmen_live: Bryan: It was great to have Ian McKellen and Bruce Davison back and working with me.
CoolDan989 asks: How did you all get started on X-Men?
xmen_live: Bryan: Hey Cool Dan
xmen_live: Bryan: My partner Tom DeSanto set me up to meet the people at Marvel.
xmen_live: Bryan: Prior to that I did research because I wasn't a fan initially - and I found it incredibly engrossing.
xmen_live: Bryan: Little by little I began to understand the depth of the X-Men Universe
xmen_live: Bryan: Tom and I hammered out a screenplay. And I thought we could do this.
xmen_live: Bryan: X-Men has always been about the people - it has action and fighting - but the reason it's survived for 38 years is because of the characters and their relationships.
xmen_live: Bryan: There are a lot of visual effects and stunts.
xmen_live: David: How did you choose Hugh Jackman as Wolverine?
xmen_live: Bryan: Hugh Jackman came in as a surprise cast member.
xmen_live: Bryan: I was anxious to find someone no one knew anything about.
xmen_live: Bryan: With Hugh it was a casting tape that came over from London. I didn't like the first or second tape.
xmen_live: Bryan: The casting people and my producer Lauren told me to consider him.
xmen_live: Bryan: I saw him in the parking lot - and in the lobby of a building when were already shooting, we did a screen test with Anna and it worked.
xmen_live: Bryan: I've had a history of finding actors on the cusp of a career - unknown actors
CoolDan989 asks: To all of you: What was it like working with Patrick Stewart?
xmen_live: Bryan: Patrick Stewart was great.
xmen_live: Bryan: He's nice, awesome. He cares.
xmen_live: Bryan: He's excited to be moving to another universe, another franchise.
xmen_live: Bryan: He and Ian had a great relationship, a camaraderie from being in the theater in England for years.
xmen_live: Bryan" You meet him and you knew he had to play the character.
xmen_live: Bryan: We came together and solidified that he had to play the character.
xmen_live: David: Do you think of a picture like this as a franchise?
xmen_live: Bryan: I think of just this one, but I think about when you're introducing a universe so rich
xmen_live: Bryan: you have to set it up for the public. We'd like it to go further.
xmen_live: I can answer any questions!
mattob.geo asks: Anyone know why we haven't seen any pics on the net of Rogue until today?
xmen_live: Bryan: On the net, because it's the one character nobody got a hold of?
xmen_live: Bryan: I have no idea!
xmen_live: Bryan: Rogue's character becomes central to the story and we play a bit younger and more naive and not necessarily an X-Man yet.
xmen_live: Bryan: When you see personal information on the net, it's strange. Stuff you (Famke) and I did!! LOL!
xmen_live: David: We are now being joined by Famke Janssen - "Jean Grey"
xmen_live: Watch the action by clicking on the banner at the top of your screen.
xmen_live: David: Bryan, how did you pick Famke?
xmen_live: Bryan: She was working at the time. I saw her tape. I know her work. We had a phone conversation. And I decided to do it.
xmen_live: Bryan: The rest is X-Men history.
xmen_live: Famke Janssen has joined us
xmen_live: Famke: and I just won $55 at the black jack table in Vegas!
ambulldog asks: Ms. Janssen - LOVED your previous work - did you dye your hair red for this part?
xmen_live: Famke: Yeah, I did. My hair suffered tremendously
xmen_live: for 5 months to play Jean Grey. If it's red enough for them, I don't know!
xmen_live: All I know is that it was dyed red for the part!
xmen_live: The only difficult part about filming was that Bryan Singer wanted to make a realistic film, but Jean Grey's hair in the comic book is bright orange, and that's not realistic.
jf_sebastian79 asks: Famke, did you know much about the X-Men before the movie and did you do much research?
xmen_live: Famke: I didn't know anything before the movie, but once I got cast I did research with the comic books on character development.
xmenfilm asks: Famke! You look great as Jean Grey. In the film, do you have her trademark Red hair and how often do you use your power/?
xmen_live: Famke: In the movie or real life?
xmen_live: LOL!
xmen_live: Famke: In the movie, it's hard to say because you'd have to ask Bryan. But my power came in and out throughout the film.
xmen_live: Famke: We all, as X-Men, use our powers.
xmen_live: Famke: The challenging part to play my character was to make a cerebral character interesting.
xmen_live: Famke: I didn't have any physical attributes, just a really sharp mind.
xmen_live: Famke: You gotta look good to read people's minds!
xmen_live: Famke: The comic books helped with that, but I was tied to the script. I tried my best and hope I don't disappoint the fans!
souperninja asks: Famke: I wish people would get over hair. What was your favorite aspect of the character?
xmen_live: Famke: The hair!
xmen_live: Famke: Being a red head for a few months.
xmen_live: Famke: I liked not having to be physical for the movie.
xmen_live: Famke: It was nice to go against the expectations people have of me - to go against being a physical character.
xmen_live: Famke: It's nice to be a nice character, but I've played those before.
xmen_live: Famke: Dark Phoenix is the flip side of Jean - I'd like to see her!
Syxx_Pakk asks: For Famke, do you kiss Cyclops in the movie?
xmen_live: Famke: Actually, no.
xmen_live: Famke: I don't get to kiss anybody in this movie
xmen_live: Famke: But we had long discussions about that.
xmen_live: Famke: Fans know, but people new to the movie don't know about the back history of Cyclops and Jean Grey.
xmen_live: Famke: I am in bed with him at one point, but we don't kiss.
flyin_hawaiian_1 asks: Famke, you look stunning by the way ;), Who was your favorite actor/actress to interact with on the movie
xmen_live: Famke: Thank you!
xmen_live: Famke: Most of my scenes ended up with Hugh as Wolverine and Patrick Stewart as well.
xmen_live: Famke: I guest starred on Star Trek once as Kamala, the Perfect Mate!
souperninja asks: Famke: Who designed the outfit you're wearing today?
xmen_live: Famke: The majority is Katyan Deli - which
xmen_live: Famke: I'm sure no one can spell!
xmen_live: (typist agrees - I can't!!)
thresh23 asks: FAMKE: Did you relate at all to the character Jean Grey? And if so, how?
xmen_live: Famke: Yes, I did actually.
xmen_live: Famke: The most interesting part about Jean Grey - is the control - control is an important aspect of people with special powers.
xmen_live: Famke: Jean Grey is not fully developed yet in her powers, not entirely in control - that ties into the Dark Phoenix idea.
xmen_live: Famke: I'm not completely in control of all of my powers in my life also!!
xmen_live: David: Famke has to go
xmen_live: David: Bruce Davison, Senator Kelly in X-Men has joined us!
xmen_live: David: What don't you like about X-Men?
xmen_live: Bruce: If you got into a traffic jam with a mutant, they'll melt your car.
xmen_live: Bruce: Senator Kelly has control issues as well and has political power to back them up.
xmen_live: Bruce: In the film, Senator Kelly has an interesting journey and they effect that process.
xmen_live: David: What's it like playing the straight man.
xmen_live: Bruce: Senator Kelly has a crisis in the movie where he sees things through other eyes!
xmen_live: Bruce: It was fun, the ultimate rep company working with Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Famke, Anna, the entire cast.
xmen_live: Bruce: With all of the X-Men, you have to care about them, with all of their powers.
xmen_live: Watch the chat live by clicking on the banner at the top of the room.
papafeelgood asks: How do you like Mutant Watch.com?
xmen_live: Bruce: I don't know a thing about it - buy maybe I should. I'm not an internet person, an email person.
xmen_live: www.mutantwatch.com <http://www.mutantwatch.com>
xmen_live: David: Did you read the comics to prepare for your role?.
xmen_live: Bruce: I was a comic book fan, but a different generation. I didn't read the X-Men, except a little in college.
xmen_live: Bruce: I learned some about it from my nephew.
xmen_live: Bruce: Everyone has an opinion and an agenda as far as X-Men goes.
jasiel_mac asks: Davidson: Is Kelly pushing for the Sentinel program in this movie or should we see that issue come up in the sequel?
xmen_live: Bruce: No - probably the sequel.
Castle389 asks: Mr. Davison: Do you feel your characters reaction to mutants is complete fiction or do such men exist in our government today?
xmen_live: Bruce: Absolutely exist in our government today and in every facet of our life.
xmen_live: Bruce: There's a Senator Kelly in everybody.
knight1970 asks: BRUCE: Senator Kelly is basically a racist. What did it feel like playing a character that had those qualities?
xmen_live: Bruce: I think racism is inherent in every human soul. Sen. Kelly has the power to plug into that fear.
xmen_live: Bruce: That's part of the world we live in.
xmen_live: Bruce: I don't think it was hard. We see Senator Kelly on TV everyday, especially in the political debates going on now.
xmen_live: Bruce: That's what actors do, play characters that extend beyond the way they act or think.
xmen_live: David: Did you base Senator Kelly on any politician today?
xmen_live: Bruce: Yeah, but I'm not going to say who.
xmen_live: Bruce: There are a number I could base him on.
xmen_live: Bruce: Just by watching C-Span, there's a Robert Dornan's flamboyance going on.
xmen_live: Bruce: That's what interesting about Senator Kelly, he's not entirely a villain. He's complex
jasiel_mac asks: Davidson: Is Kelly's history his wife killed in a mutant incident) explored in the move?
xmen_live: Bruce: No.
gambit1912 asks: Bruce: Did you dye your hair red?
xmen_live: Bruce Davison: No I did not.
uncle_tupelo_2k asks: Do you have an action figure for the movie?
xmen_live: Bruce: Yes, yes I do.
xmen_live: Bruce: I don't know what it's turning into right now. It could be a bar of soap! LOL!
MIZER_1 asks: Do you think the X-Men Movie will bring to light a lot of Human rights Issues in the Real world
xmen_live: Bruce: I hope so.
xmen_live: Bruce: I hope it does it in a way in which the humanity of the characters is something people can relate to.
xmen_live: James Marsden is joining us now.
xmen_live: Thanks to Bruce Davison for chatting.
xmen_live: James Marsden plays Cyclops in the movie.
xmen_live: James: I can't really say if you get to see my eyes in the movie!
xmen_live: David: How did you get hooked up with X-Men?
xmen_live: James: In L.A. I went to casting, met with Bryan Singer a couple of times and then he casts you.
xmen_live: James: The roles I'm more intimidated by, I don't get nervous about.
xmen_live: James: I've been a big fan of Bryan's since he's been directing films
xmen_live: James: I wasn't an X-Men fan - because I didn't read the comic
xmen_live: James: I was playing sports or doing musicals.
xmen_live: James: I have read the comics since, but have kept the script as my true comic book.
xmen_live: James: There was once scene in the movie where Famke and I were intimate and I think I kissed her on the forehead!
tmeditor asks: For James Marsden: Did being cast so late in the process make this movie more difficult for you?
xmen_live: James: Only because it limited the time I had to get in shape.
xmen_live: I was cast so late we had very little rehearsal time because the cast was an ensemble cast and were away in England or Australia
www_redcricket asks: Does James M get to keep the visor?
xmen_live: James: Don't know yet.
xmen_live: James is trying to keep the visor. James wants to keep the visor!
xmen_live: Wink, wink. nudge, nudge!
xmen_live:David: Tell us a little bit about Cyclops.
xmen_live: James: His real name is Scott Summers
xmen_live: James: When he was a child he was flying in a plane with his father and he had to bail out and his parachute didn't work and he hit his head and lost his power to fire optic blasts.
xmen_live: James: That's why he has to wear the protective visor - to use the energy.
xmen_live: James: He was the first recruit Professor Xavier recruited.
xmen_live: James: He was the first young leader of the group.
xmen_live: James: He's a bit insecure because he's uncomfortable with the responsibility to take on such a group.
xmen_live: James: So he has a little bit of a self-esteem issue.
xmen_live: James: There's an immediate chemistry between him and Jean Grey.
xmen_live: James: He's stoic, but a bit of a boy scout.
xmen_live: James: He's a good guy.
xmen_live: James: Look, it's Bryan Singer, the director of X-Men. He's going gambling!
JDRavnos asks: James your a bit younger then Famke, does this add any new twist between Scott and Jean's relation?
xmen_live: James: No, not really.
xmen_live: James: I think it depends on which comic book you're reading, which year?
xmen_live: James: It's all relative.
xmen_live: James: In my opinion, I'd like to see the younger guys with the older women!
blueberry_pixi asks: WAS YOUR VISOR UNCOMFORTABLE AT ALL?
xmen_live: James: It was uncomfortable only in the sense that it obscured my peripheral vision. I had to have people lead me around like a blind man.
xmen_live: James: And the ruby red crystal was hard to see through.
acidrain327 asks: Mr Marsden, why was Cyke's optic blast cut from the film? Can you describe it, so that we may know why it was named unsuitable for maintaining a PG rated trailer?
xmen_live: James: Because the MPAA has to rate the trailers and they thought the visor blast was not a G-rating. It was too intense. Maybe not for PG, but for G.
Dunz asks: James: Does the movie make any reference to older members of the original class of X-men, such as Angel, Iceman, and Beast?
xmen_live: James: Maybe a few . . .
xmen_live: James: It's still a big mystery to me who will be in the sequel, which characters.
xmen_live: David: As Cyclops are you afraid of bad guys?
xmen_live: James: You just take them on.
xmen_live: James: Cyclops is stand up guy.
xmen_live: James Marsden has to go.
xmen_live: Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Mystique in the X-Men has joined us!
xmen_live: David: House of Mystique, let's start there!
xmen_live: David: Will they recognize you right of the bat in this movie?
xmen_live: Rebecca - I don't know.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I was blue for 25 days total, sat through 7-8 hours of make-up/
xmen_live: David: What was the process like?
xmen_live: Rebecca: Obscene, excruciating.
xmen_live: Rebecca: They'd cover me in prosthetics and then they would air brush me which was horrible because I was inhaling paint fumes.
xmen_live: David: Why did you play Mystique?
xmen_live: Rebecca: I love the idea of playing a badass.
xmen_live: Rebecca: A glorious Smurf!
xmen_live: Rebecca: An evil one.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I had to audition for this.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I had to kick some ass in the office!
xmen_live: LOL
xmen_live: David: How do you audition to be evil?
xmen_live: Rebecca: I don't have much dialogue in this - I'm silent but deadly.
xmen_live: I had to do some kicks . .
Cyclone6_9 asks: Rebecca - Would you come back for a sequel, and do you consider Mystique a bad girl, or maybe just misguided?
xmen_live: Rebecca: She's a bad girl, through and through.
xmen_live: Rebecca: She's evil to the core I think.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I know there's a whole back story with all the X-Men stories.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I keep learning new things about all of the characters.
xmen_live: Rebecca: Eventually Mystique is Rogue's mother.
xmen_live: Rebecca: If the pay is worth it, maybe I'll come back!
xmen_live: Rebecca: Now I'll know to avoid paint!
xmen_live: David: Did you base your character on a supermodel?
xmen_live: Rebecca: No - and if I did, I wouldn't drop any names!
xmen_live: Rebecca: Mystique is the poser in the movie - she morphs into different characters.
uninviteds asks: To Rebecca: Why they did have to put Mystique naked?
xmen_live: Rebecca: Because I know the original Mystique wears a flowing white gown, but it would be hard to morph into another character if she's wearing clothes.
xmen_live: Rebecca: Sex sells!
xmen_live: Rebecca: Blue boobs sell!
xmen_live: Bryan's hoping a lot of teenage boys will come see it
johnnydarter asks: Does your husband John like the X-men?
xmen_live: Rebecca: He doesn't know anything about The X-Men.
xmen_live: Rebecca: He doesn't like my costume very much either!
xmen_live: Rebecca: He has no idea what I went through.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I'd come home sick from all the paint I was inhaling.
angeltriste asks: is it true that you fight wolverine as wolverine?????
xmen_live: Rebecca: I'm not going to spoil it!
acidrain327 asks: Mrs Romijn-Stamos, can you describe Mystique's in-film morphing to us? Please?
xmen_live: Rebecca: I think that's a whole lot of CGI I don't understand.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I had to match other actor's poses and positions which was hard actually.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I had to match peoples staggers and movements.
sotired76 asks: To Rebecca: For the first time, you're playing a mutant. Does it bother you to be called a mutant?
xmen_live: Rebecca: No because I think mutant in X-Men terms has negative and positive terms. There are good mutants and bad mutants - just like supermodels!
sawny_bean asks: Did you enjoy being Ian McKellen's sidekick?
xmen_live: Rebecca: Loved it.
xmen_live: Rebecca: He's a doll.
xmen_live: Rebecca: He was great to work with and very supportive on cold, cold nights out on location!
badpuppy_2 asks: Did you ever get physically hurt? Besides having blue feet a week later?
xmen_live: Rebecca: I still have blue feet and some blue pores!
xmen_live: Rebecca: I have one good story actually!
xmen_live: Rebecca: I kicked Bruce Davison (Senator Kelly) accidentally during one of our fight scenes, by mistake.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I was supposed to miss and I didn't because I don't have good eye-hand coordination I guess!
xmen_live: Rebecca: I did something on the last night, the night I was supposed to wrap, to celebrate at 2am, I took some shots of tequila
xmen_live: Rebecca: and I'd been inhaling blue paint all day.
xmen_live: I was barfing blue!
flyin_hawaiian_1 asks: Rebecca-you look ravishing by the way :) what did you do physically to prepare for this role?
xmen_live: Rebecca: Thank you!
xmen_live: I do my workout routine, pilates, acrobatics and yoga and dance stretches, five days a week.
xmen_live: Rebecca: I did a lot of work with stunt coordinators/
xmen_live: Rebecca: I had an amazing stunt double named Vicky
johnnydarter asks: Since you have played a blue person, do you ever think you would want to star in a live version of the Smurfs?
xmen_live: Rebecca: I'm not naked - okay, let's get that straight!
xmen_live: I was covered in thick prosthetics!!
xmen_live: Rebecca: As Smurfette?
xmen_live: Rebecca: No, I think I'm done with being blue.
xmen_live: Rebecca: Bryan Singer is just really intense and he was going for a quality piece and he's sensitive to X-Men diehards and people not familiar with the X-Men.
xmen_live: Hopefully it will turn out that.
xmen_live: Rebecca has to go now.
xmen_live: Thanks for joining us tonight
