TO This page is dedicated to the television series Airwolf. This show was based upon a top secret attack helicopter, Airwolf ("a flying fortress" paid for by the FIRM). Dr. Moffet, Airwolf's creator, attempted to steal his creation and sell it to Libya. He was stopped by one of the helicopter's test pilots, Stringfellow Hawke. Although Hawke retrieved Airwolf, he was not able to save his girlfriend whom Moffet left to die in the desert. Hawke did not return Airwolf to the FIRM, but hid it (somewhere in Monument Valley). Hawke uses Airwolf as leverage against the FIRM whom he believes can help him find his brother, St. John, who is MIA in Vietnam. Archangel has arrived at an agreement with Hawke. In exchange for fuel and armament for Airwolf, Hawke agrees to fly "The Lady" on missions of "national concern". Hawke is aided by Dominic Santini and Caitlin O'Shannesey. Both are capable of flying Airwolf, but often "man the guns" for Hawke. HELPFUL INFORMATION STRINGFELLOW HAWKEis a former Vietnam combat pilot. He works at Santini Air, plays the cello, and lives in a mountain cabin with his dog "Tet". He is the chief pilot of Airwolf. DOMINIC SANTINIis the owner of Santini Air. He was a friend of Hawke's father whom he met in World War II. He is String's friend and co-pilot. CAITLIN O'SHANNESEYwas a Texas Highway Patrol pilot. She left Texas after seeing Airwolf (Hawke and Dominic rescued her from a band of outlaws). Her relentless pursuit of Airwolf finally landed her a job at Santini Air. Eventually, she became a part of the Airwolf team, serving as a backup pilot in case of an emergency. ARCHANGELis the Deputy Director of Field Personnel for the FIRM (believed to be the CIA--chaired by "Zeus"). He was wounded and left blind during Moffet's attempt to steal Airwolf. Archangel always wears white and is often accompanied by his assistant. THE LADYis Airwolf. She is a fully-loaded attack helicopter capable of speeds up to Mach 2. She is also bullet-proof and able to avoid radar detection.
