Welcome to the Town of Holyrood's Genealogical web page. This page is intended to help people in researching their ancestors who may have originated from Holyrood. This page was made possible through the efforts of the Holyrood librarian, Theresa Maclean and the local library board headed by Joe Byrne. They got three summer students to research the family trees of the community and a CNL-CAP student to create and design a website showing Holyrood's family trees. He took it one step further and armed with a digital camera took pictures of the headstones in the cemeteries in Holyrood. There is a vast amount of information available including cemetery records, family trees and even actual pictures of the headstones in the three cemeteries located in Holyrood. Good luck searching!.
