How to Clip Your Cat's Claws
A cat nail clipper is recommended. Human clippers do not work as well and can cause the nail to split. Do not clip passed the vein or your cat will bleed.
Note: Clipping claws makes them blunt and will prevent scratches.
Trim them about once a month or when you see a point start to form.
Clipping is optional! Cats do not have to have their nails clipped, they shed them on their own. If scratches are a concern then it is recommended.
