Heinkel He280 was the first jet design as a fighter. Unlucky, the German Air Ministry didn't support Heinkel to develop this plane. They were more interested in Me262. When the Me262 was still in paper, this jet pioneer had taken off to sky. Only eight prototypes of He280 had been made.

Eduard's 1/48 He280 is a short-run injection kit but it was molded in a high standard as steel tool injection kit. Basically, the fit of it hadn't any problem. The jointing of wings and fuselage was not so good. A dry fit and sanding were required. The painting of this planes was very simple. I only sprayed overall a RLM02. After apply the decal and weathering, I used H-20 to give it a flat coat. If you are a German jet fan, this model is a must for you. The short-run injection kit will only available in a short period.
