NOTE FROM HOPE:
The music for this page was selected because my foster Mommy, Marge,
sang this song to me when I was recuperating from surgery.

Music: "High Hopes"

Hope Daisy Dog's Page
A Doxoodle Rescue Dog

Hello! My name is Hope Daisy Confer, but my everybody knows
me as Daisy or Daisy Dog. Hank, a friend of my Mom 'n' Dad said
I look like Daisy Bumstead so that's how I got my middle name!

Click HERE to see pictures of Daisy Bumstead and
pictures of some other famous Daisy's too.

I was adopted on 10 May 2004 from the SILKY TERRIER RESCUE group
in Southern California (see dedication at the bottom of this page).
I was hit by a car and had pelvic fractures, a separated hip and
had to have my jaw wired (and later rewired). I was in the Orange County
shelter hospital area where I was treated for my injuries. The shelter
thought I was a Silky because I had beautiful long hair before they cut it
all off before surgery. But, I'm really part miniature doxie (dachsund) and
part miniature toy poodle, so Mom says I'm a DOXOODLE!

Speaking of Doxoodle dogs, I have a new page just for Doxoodles.
If you're a Doxoodle who does email or if you know any Doxoodles, send
me pictures and tell me a little bit about yourself and I'll put you on the page.
Click HERE to go to my Doxoodle page and
don't forget to return here after you finish.

I also have a picture gallery, if you'd like to see more pictures of me

I have a Silky Terrier sister named Elizabeth, but everybody calls her Lizzie.
Lizzie is three years older than me and when I first came to live here she didn't
like me at all! She likes me now and she even lets me lay next to her since
we've become friends. I don't understand why she didn't like me at first.
Maybe because I tried out all the dog beds in the house, took her toys out
of the toybox and played with them on the very first day I got here.
Maybe she didn't like it when I'd nip her hard in the neck or in the face as I was
trying to get her to play with me. I still can't get her to play with me, but I can see
she wants to, so I have high hopes she will soon play with me!
Click HERE or click on her picture below to go to Lizzie's web site.
On second thought, maybe you should wait to look at her web site after
you finish looking at mine!

Mom and Dad had another rescue dog from the Silky Terrier Rescue group,
her name was Honey and she's at the Rainbow Bridge now. Mom told me
that Honey was the sweetest dog she'd ever known.

Honey has a special page on her site, a Rescue Pets page. It has pictures
of other rescued pets with links to their sites. Click HERE or
