HELLO.

JUST A NOTE TO LET YOU KNOW HOW THRILLED WE STILL ARE WITH OUR DOG.
HE IS SO SMART AND LOVING. WE ARE BUILDING A NEW HOUSE AND ALL OF THE WORKERS HAVE REMARKED ABOUT BOO BEING THE SMARTEST DOG THEY'VE EVER SEEN AND HE'S ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD.

I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD FIND ANOTHER DOG LIKE OUR GOLDEN BUT I THINK WE HAVE AND MUCH MORE.
I WOULD LIKE YOUR ADDRESS TO SEND PICTURES. THANKS AGAIN JEROI.

Elaine, I went over to Pryor today and met the Rotts & Boo. He's a really neat dog. It's hard to imagine that he's still a pup. He's so calm and steady....

An interesting thing happened. They went out to move some cows to show me how he works. As they were bringing the cows to the house two neighbor dogs showed up. They really tried hard to distract him. They succeeded to a degree, but what was really cool was that even though he was suddenly greeted by two dogs (that probably couldn't even identify a cow!), he continued to look back at James, and watched the cows to be sure they all went through the gate. Only when he was assured that they'd all gone in the gate did he allow himself to be lured into the game in which the other dogs were trying to engage him. Also of interest was a teeny tiny kitten. Jeroi said that the momma had been hit by a car. Boo had adopted the kitten. She said that for a while, he even carried it around. The kitten tried to follow Boo wherever he went, so obviously she had imprinted on him.
