This building, was the camp cinema. It stands in its own compound, not far from the main gate. Formally known as "The Globe", it was perhaps the most popular part of the camp!. I should think that it was also used by members of the public for a time.
The building was the first to be reused after closure, was refitted and secured and is now storage space for a company. It was featured in an edition of the MOD`s estates deparments conservation magazine some years ago. Apparently he local conservation volunteer group, made up of members within the MOD, worked on reinstating and reinforcing a badgers set in the compound.
