Ahnyo Kyaung Thangejin waiting to go to a show. Promoting Pet Ownership at Royal Easter Show. I did not ever plan to be an cat exhibitor. I had purchased two Beautiful Burmese kittens. As an American I wanted proof they were pedigree Burmese, so I had instead on registrations. In the early seventies only top show and good quality breeding cats were registered; thus I found myself the proud owner of two top show cats. Because of their top pedigree the breeder had to practically beg me to show them. Of course, they were top kittens in show and I was hooked. So began a love affair with showing and an entry into The World of Fabulous Felines and their Remarkable Owners. When you begin to show, you do not think of it as hard work but more as a chance to meet people who enjoy cats as much as you do. But later you realize that although it is great fun exhibiting; that the best fun is having cats which the public can touch and admire. It is a most marvelous opportunity to promote cats and responsible cat ownership. Ahnyo Kyaung Koo Yin performing for the public at Royal. Dermott Balaam and Karjo Rachelle Milton Show 2000 Aside from gaining awards for your Fabulous Felines the show world has a wonderful sense of fun. When a dog turned up at a recent show, top international judge Bambi Edwards had a great time presenting him to the public. Another time, the judges vote for the most ardent member of the public and rewarded her. Bambi Edwards assessing a Top Dog. I'd wonder what the cats thinks. Most devoted member of the public.
