| Mantra Clothing is a yogic-inspired line, which centers on creating wellness in the body through symbol, color, and sound. In 1998, Rhona Meyers conceived the idea of Mantra Clothing, while touring India and practicing Kundalini Yoga and Kabbalah. She began to understand how symbols, color, and sound; affect, expand, and change the energy fields (aura) of the body and allow for openness, flexibility, positive growth, and expansion. Through this all, people can then create openness where previously there were blockages, allowing good health and good things to flow into their lives naturally and without force. Rhona dreamt of taking this knowledge out of the classroom and to the public, so she created Mantra T-Shirts. Mantra T-Shirts come in various colors and styles. They have embroidered chakra symbols with the specific coordinating color. Each embroidered symbol is hand sewn on the garment. Each T-shirt comes with a card explaining the chakra and the effects of that chakra when it is either over stimulated or understimulated. Also included is an explanation of what will manifest physcially as far as personality and health and how to bring the chakra into balance and to enlightenment through color and sound. Each symbol has a mantra given by a Kundalini guru who is also well versed in Kabbalah and understands how sound vibration heals the body. These fabulous Mantra T-Shirts are magnificently soft, sexily fitted, all cotton t-shirts. They create a mystical change, good shakti (energy), and look good too. Mantra Clothing is based in Los Angeles. Rhona Meyers has been a costume designer and clothing designer on various film projects for the last 16 years.
