Thor #385- Hulk vs. Thor IX

The Hulk's sleep is disturbed by some locals and prompts the usual reaction. Thor arrives and the fighting begins. After a while Hulk accuses Thor of only being strong with his hammer. Hulk challenges Thor to a fight without it, but Thor refuses. Hulk takes a girl hostage and forces Thor to throw his hammer far away. Thor holds his own for a while, but the longer the fight goes on the more Hulk dominates. Hulk throws a train on Thor, but Thor won't stay down. Thor knocks Hulk into an oil car and the whole thing explodes. Hulk walks through the fire ready to fight some more. Hulk pounds on Thor. To Thor's credit he refuses to give up, but Hulk has six unanswed shots on Thor (surely enough to stop in any professional boxing match) when Thor's hammer returns. Confident that he has proved his superiority Hulk declines Thor's offer to throw Mjolnir away again. Hulk leaps away.
