On the 8th August 2000 a tornado struck sunbury and destroyed our local Basketball stadium, it has now been rebuilt and was officially re-opened on 12th December 2001.
The first people to have entry to the opening were the parents and children that were in the stadium on the evening that the tornado struck. The kids were entertained by Warick Giddy from the Melboune Tigers and treated to a treats and refreshments.
