The Humor Ring is devoted completely to sites that have humorous content on them.

Your site must have humorous content. Jokes, parodies, comics, etc., are welcome to join.

• Commercial sites or sites that are links-only will not be approved. Sites that contain or link to sites that contain adult content (nudity) will not be approved. Sites that condone the abuse of people or animals will not be approved.

Your site must be updated regularly or at least kept in good repair.

The proper Humor Ring fragment must be on your site before you will be added to the ring.

Please make sure you have placed the proper ring fragment on your website.

• Make sure that you have removed any ***SITE ID*** tags and replaced them with your actual site ID (this was sent to you in the introductory email).
• Make sure that you have downloaded the ring graphic you wish to use and uploaded it to your own website server (just like you would with any other graphic).
• If you choose to use the text only ring fragment, you must keep the title intact - any sites with a Humor Ring fragment that does not say "The Humor Ring" will be removed from the queue immediately.

If you have not placed the Humor Ring fragment on your site within TWO WEEKS your site will be removed from the queue.

Email me to let me know you have placed the ring on your webpage. As soon as I am able to I'll check it out and get you approved. Until then your ring fragment will remain inactive. After you have emailed me, please be patient. I have a very busy offline life and won't be able to respond the minute your email lands in my inbox.
