1920 - 21st August, Christopher Robin Milne was Born
1921 - 21st August, An 18" - high teddy bear was bought from Harrod's in London and given to Christopher Robin Milne on his 1st Birthday
1926 - The book "Winnie The Pooh" was published
1927 - "Now We Are Six" was published
1928 - "The House At Pooh Corner" was published
1947 - Former Ditton Publishing President Elliott Macrae visits A.A.Milne at his home in Surrey, and sees the orginal toy animals that inspired Winnie The Pooh. Also in this year the real Pooh and friends tour the USA.
1956 - The real Winnie The Pooh and friends are put on display at E.P Ditton & Co. Publisheres In New York.
1961 - After A.A Milnes death, his wife sold the rights to Walt Disney and he created what we see today as the animated Winnie The Pooh.
1973 - Winnie The Pooh, new colour illistrations by Ernest H. Shepard were published.
1976 - The real Pooh and friends make their last trip to England to participate in the 50th birthday of Winnie the Pooh, arranged by Methuen & Co Publishers
1987 - 11th September, The real Pooh and Freinds are presented to the New York Public Library where they were all put on display for public viewing.
1988 - The real Winnie the Pooh and friends recieve professional conservation treatment, and that included vacuuming and assorted repairs.
1998- Pooh and his friends became the centre of international attention.
