The Mother's Club of Huntington was started in August of 2005 by a group of stay at home mothers who wanted to join together in different play and activity groups but desired a flexibility and support system that they were unable to find in any other group in the area. The Mother's Club was designed with the goal of having something for every mother. Approximately 30 mothers and grandmothers joined during the first meeting. During the first year, the Mother's Club had several successful fundraisers to assist in the service projects of the club and began the process to become a permanent legal entity through incorporation.

Currently the Mother's Club of Huntington is beginning it's third year and is still going strong with approximately 50 members.
