Quick Knot
Caution:
This knot is NOT a knot that you use when you feel like it. This knot is a
safety precaution!!!!!!!! I'm sure that all horse lovers would not like to have their horse's necks brocken because they decided not to use this knot. I'm not trying to make you be scared but you need to be aware that horses can spook at harmless objects. There are three of many precautions you should take when tying a horse;

#1 Keep a lead rope handy when you have a horse in cross-ties.
#2 When tied in a quick release knot, do NOT leave a horse unattended for over five minutes.
#3 Do NOT leave a horse unattended in cross-ties (the horse could spook at something and try to throw its head. It could snap its neck or badly hurt itself.) Take victim #33 for example >>>>>

Victim number 33:
While I was talking with one of my friends after we were done doing chores at the riding stable, a girl that goes to the barn was trying to put a bridle on her horse and the horse wouldn't take the bit. So the girl walked back to the tack room, leaving her horse unattended in cross-ties with the halter around his neck! My friend and I heard this scraping and then a snap. When we ran to see what the matter was,  Accolade, the girls horse, was getting up from the floor. He had broken one of the cross-ties and snapped his girth so the saddle was on the floor. Ace didn't hurt himself luckely but what made me mad was that when the girl came back, she said, "I don't know why you've been acting like this Accolade." Don't let carelessness get in the way of safety please!
