Hi! We are Cadette Troop 40 of Elizabethton, Tennessee. We started as members of Brownie Troop 50 which was formed in 1996--it grew from 12 original members in '96-97 to 32 in 1997-98. Our Junior troop was formed in May 1998 from 8 bridging Brownies from Troop 50 plus one Junior from another troop. In 1999, we grew from 9 to 15 girl members with 2 leaders. That summer, 2 girls bridged to Cadettes, and we became a multi-level troop of Juniors and Cadettes. In May 2000, the remaining Juniors bridged to Cadettes, so now we're Cadette Troop 40. For 2001, we have 6 girls in our troop and we're meeting with Senior Troop 56. Please visit our pages to meet us and see what we're up to!!!
