Ainslie Henderson started his musical career in the Scottish band, 'Suburbia'. After much persuasion from his illusive father, he entered the search for a budding star to enter Fame Academy, a musical reality TV show on the BBC. He joined 12 other students in the Academy although one left after a few weeks due to vocal problems. The other students were Lemar Obika, Sinead Quinn, Malachi Cush, Marli Buck, Katie Lewis, Camilla Beeput, Chris Manning, Nigel Wilson, Ashley House, Pippa Fulton and the winner, David Sneddon of 'Stop Living The Lie' fame. Sinead Quinn has also released her own single 'Can't Break Down', which was written in the Academy. Ainlsie true ambition is to be a successful singer, song writer and performer, which it seems like he is from his new single, 'Keep Me A Secret', released on Monday 24th February 2003 and out in shops now. It is currently at number four in the charts. Other songs on the single are 'Don't Get Me Wrong' and 'Take Out Time', written with Mark Hunter and Saul Davies from one of Ainslie's favourite bands, 'James'. 'Take Out Time' was written while Ainslie was in the Academy before being voted out to take fourth place. Ainslie's next single will hopefully be released very soon. It will be 'All The Pretty Boys And Girls' and is about everyone's obsession with appearance. The album is said to be released this Summer, so I'll keep you posted on that one. Well, other than that, you can usually spot Anslie on TV, a few times a week at the moment to promote his new single, which I suggest you go out and buy now as it has the added feature of thr 'Keep Me A Secret' video included.
