One of my favorite things to do is to drive until I'm "temporarily misplaced". I always seem to make it home, so guess I can say I've never really been LOST. Haven't gotten around to do much serious traveling yet, and so am usually within 100 miles of home.. With compass in place, a map available when really necessary, at least one good camera a film (until I get a digital), and I'm ready to hit the road. The outer road that is. Never on the interstate, I try to take the back roads to the back roads. Usually roads that are either paved with no center line, or dirt. Roads where you can look in your rear view mirror and not see a car for miles at a time. You don't need a lot of traffic when you're going 30 miles an hour and spending more time looking at the scenery than watching the road.
A photographer I'm not, you'll soon see. I just like to take pictures. Pictures of whatever strikes my fancy, and hopefully a story to go with them.
