“These are the generations...” TOLADOTH DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES Paul & Aprile Hyder 3130 N. Cardinal Rd. Azle, Tx 76020 214-546-3979 hydernav@peoplepc.com Fall Newsletter 2005 |
Dear Friends,
God has really used this year to test our endurance, faith and patience. When we left North Carolina we anticipated going to the mission field after a short time in Texas. However, due to issues related to both of our Fathers’ health we were postponed. As you can imagine we were disappointed but knew that this was the Lord’s choice for us at this time. Paul’s father, Claude, passed away in May and Aprile’s Dad, Allen, is doing well. Please pray for Allen as he continues to battle cancer. Due to our postponement, we accepted a temporary job and housing situation and began to look for ministry opportunities in this area. As of this month, Paul has been offered and accepted a part-time ministry position at the military base in Ft Worth. He will be the Director of Religious Education and will be doing discipleship with the youth group along with other duties in the Chaplain's office. This position is a civilian contract but will benefit Paul in establishing some ministry experience for the future. This position is a part-time 1-2 year contract and will not meet all of our financial needs. Because of this, we will continue to raise our support and Paul will devote his extra time to developing a discipleship program at the base. Please pray about the possibility of partnering with us as financial supporters. If you would like to partner with us monthly, yearly or even with a one time gift you can send support to us through: TDM 3130 N. Cardinal Rd. Azle, TX 76020 Most of all please pray for us as we seek God's guidance as we start this ministry and in raising the rest of our financial support. During this time, Aprile will continue to home school the girls and help with the ministry on base. She also hopes to attend Southwestern Seminary in order to finish her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, which will be a great asset. We are in the process of looking for a place to live in the Ft Worth vicinity. The house we are in now is about an hour from the base and we need to be closer in order to meet ministry needs. Paul's new job starts on October 1st, so we are hoping to find a home soon. This will be our fourth move this year. Please pray for the girls, as the instability of this year has been difficult on them. We know the Lord has great plans for the Hyder’s in the days ahead. Thank you for your participation in our ministry. God Bless, The Hyder’s |
