| orkid is also known as Orchid. She was born 9-23-88 at Sea World California. she is a cross between a pacific and atlantic resident bloodline. Her mother was Kandu 5 who was captured on 10-1977 from iceland and was transferred to sea world California from Harderwijk, Holland. She died on 8-89 when she and corky had a dissagreement. she had fractured her jaw when trying to rake corky and she bled to death. Orkid"s father was Orky2. He was captured on 4-1968 in B.C. Canada he ws part of the A5 pod, he was sent to Marineland California where he fathered all of Corky2's now dead calves. He was sent to Sea world california. He died three days after orkid's birth orkid never met orky, in orky's honor her name is short for orky's kid. since orkid's parents are dead Corky2 adopted her they are very close to each other.orkid's only living bloodline is her half sister kayla who she hasnt met and corky. kasatka had tought orkid how to catch birds that fly by the tank. Orkid also enjoys splashing people who passby the preformance tank with takara.orkid is also attached to keet who some times she will not leave the tank with out him. orkid also ejoys sumars company, once they wouldnt let the trainers close the gates when they were speeding through the tanks. lately orkid has started to show her mothering skills by babysitting kohana and nakai. when bjossa lived at seaworld orkid didnt like her to much and actually would make her submit often. orkid is acts as if shes the 2nd in command and is well respected by both trainers and orca. she will also protect corky when needed. Orkid is the second largest female at sea world California, Corky is the largest female . Orkid appears often in the show with Takara,keet,nakai, kohana, or ulysses. |
