Jajuka is a seldom seen character in Escaflowne but also one of my personal favourites. He's the one who cared for and brought up Serena when she was captured.
He is always getting hurt by the people who experimented on Serena for trying to protect her and there are some horrible images of this. (I cry!!)
I like this character because he's caring and Kind and I think, though, I don't think it's true, but don't you think he looks like the dog version of Alan?! Jajukas way cuter though!

Who's Ruhm? I here you ask. Well, he's even more seldom seen than Jajuka! He's the Wolfman of Fanelia. He was only shown in a grand total of 3 episodes throught the whole series! But, a pretty important part through. He lives in a small village in Fanelia called Arza and leads his group of Wolf-men just like him. He was the one who brought Van and Hitomi to Fanelia in the first episode and if you are no saying "I don't remember that", then shame on you! You should! *laughs* He is also spotted talking to Folken at the ruins of Fanelia, so look out for good ol' Ruhm!

This two are quite a pair now, aren't they?! When they were young, they were ambushed by Samuri's and couldn't protect themselves because they were so young. But, they were lucky and Folken swept down on his angel wings and saved them. Now, they are grown up and ready to fight along side "Lord Folken". They both have their own Guymelfs which are really cool (Hair included!!)
As you can see, it's pretty hard to tell them apart, but I think Eyria is the Silver one and Naria is the Gold one. (If you know different, email me and I'll put it right!)
They're lucky and Folken knows it and in one episode, he actually replaces their blood with Luck enhancers, which nearly kills them both. They are usually on Missions for him, and unfortunately, are both in love with him, so it's like a silent war for his affection. I personally really like these two because their different from every other character in the show.

This is Hitomi's bestfriend Yukari. Only at the end of episode 1 that Hitomi relises that Yukari is in love with Armano, her coach. She doesn't know what to do, because Armano's meant to be moving away, Yukari's telling her to go and tell him how she feels about him, yet she knows Yukari is in love with him, and can't bring herself to do it. Other than episode 1, you don't see much of her, you hear someone mention her in the last episode, but that's it!
