Did you know that English Freemasonry is organised separately and independently from Scottish and Irish Freemasonry?

In the United Kingdom alone, there are three Grand Lodges for English Freemasonry, Irish Freemasonry (both Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic), and Scottish Freemasonry.

The organisation which manages Freemasonry in each kingdom is called a Grand Lodge. English masonry (or freemasonry) is administered by the United Grand Lodge of England ( UGLE ).
