This is my Papa |
This is my Mama |
Well, my old description of my family life was somewhat harsh. My family life hasn't been that bad. So I decided I would change it up a bit. I live with my grandparents. My mother was ran over by a semi-truck when I was only one years of age... so my grandparents adopted me . It hurts me to know that my real mother is gone, but I except fate. And I like it with my grandparents. They raised me up in church. Strong morals were highly pushed in every day life. When I was younger it was annoying, but now that I'm older I understand it was my benefit. I was also always around music. Weekend cookouts brought groups of men with their guitars, and lots of loud music. I was pretty much spoiled, being that I am the only child...but there was also discipline. A little too much at times. But it has made me a better girl. In 1999, Mama had kidney failure and was put on dialysis. She also has bad asthma and emphazema... So she's grouchy and irritable often. Sometimes she's hard to deal with... but I try my best to take care of her and be the daughter I should be. I know it'll pay off. Papa has changed a lot because Mama's condition keeps him upset. She is very cruel to him at times. But for the most part, he tolerates her. He is a very mild mannered and easy going guy, although he doesn't speak his mind often. Papa is great, except for the fact that his temper can sometimes get out of control. But he has a lot to deal with, so I can totally understand why he's like that. I love him anyway. Well, that's enough about my family life... I'm with some great parents. I love them very much. Thanks for raising me, and loving me! |
