Catch Dog I Title Requirements:
C.D.I.: Catch and hold a wild boar not less than 125 lbs., in the controlled environment of a catch pen. Bulldog must seize boar long enough for handler to toss and control boar before Bulldog is made to release. Catch must be made in a catch pen not less than 150’ x 150’ or the square foot equivalent. Catch must be filmed and witnessed by a U.C.D.A. Inspector. Video of catch will be filed at the U.C.D.A. office to be stored in C.D. Title Records. C.D. title will be pass or fail to be determined by not less than 3 U.C.D.A. Inspectors.

Catch Dog II Title Requirements:
C.D.II: C.D.I requirements plus the following: To catch and seize wild hog not less than 150 lbs. on an actual Wild Hog Hunt. Hog must be caught by Bulldog, then tossed and controlled by handler. Hunt and catch must be filmed and witnessed by U.C.D.A. Inspector. To qualify for C.D.II, Bulldog must receive pass evaluations from not less than 3 U.C.D.A. Inspectors.

Catch Dog III Title Requirements:
C.D.III: C.D.I requirements plus the following: A total of four catches on actual Wild Hog Hunts. Bulldog must catch and seize until hog is tossed and controlled by handler. Hunts must be filmed and witnessed by U.C.D.A. Inspector. In order to qualify for C.D.III, Bulldog must receive pass evaluations from not less than 3 U.C.D.A. Inspectors.

NOTE: C.D. Titles can also be achieved by Bulldogs working cattle.

U.C.D. I, II, and III Requirements:
The Utility Catch Dog is the ultimate C.D. Title. It can only be obtained by Bulldogs who have received their C.D.I, II, or III title, and who excel in working farm stock such as cattle, goats, etc. and/or trail downed or wounded animals. I addition any CDI, II, or III titled Bulldog that works in a full-time capacity with a licensed agency such as Police K-9, K-9 Guardian Security, etc., may also test for Utility C.D. title. Such canine must be filmed by U.C.D.A. Inspector and receive pass evaluations from not less than 3 U.C.D.A. Inspectors.

All UCDA Catch Titles are recognized and recorded in the American Bulldog Association’s official studbook database and become a permanent part of the official name of the ABA registered dog, and also listed with the WABA and UCDA.
