The official It Ain't Half Hot Mum Apreciation Society (IAHHMAS) has now been launched, and is now accepting members. A quarterly newsletter (called "Meet the Gang") will be produced, and members will be able to find out such things as what the cast members are doing now, as well as be able to contact other IAHHM fans around the world. The newsletter will also contain interviews with the writers and stars, and help you obtain episodes that have been released on video. |
One of the main aims of the IAHHMAS will be to convince the BBC to show the series again on BBC1, instead of having it hidden away on Cable channels such as UKGold. Another future aim of the society is to have a Video Library so that in the event of members not being able to see episodes on TV, then they will be able to hire them from us direct. These are just a few ideas of what the society is to be, but it can only be a real Appreciation Society if there are fans ready to join our ranks. Membership costs £7.50 a year for UK residents, and £10.00 for those living anywhere else in the world. If you are living in the UK, and would like to join, please send a SAE to: IAHHMAS, 28 Franklyn Street, St Agnes, Bristol BS2 9LD If you do not live in the UK, please email me at iahhm@yahoo.co.uk for instructions. We look forward to welcoming you to our ranks. |
